Call wasn't on Solo, it was on one or two US players going inside the ten-yard line before the kick. As previously noted, it's a fair call according to the rules but the referees hardly ever bother.
Oh and 1 more thing. US Women's = England Men's We are always going to be bitching about how they didn't win and make excuses. For the next 100 years. I'm calling it now.
II think the consensus was that the initial call by the commentators was wrong. the refs appear to have called it back for encraochment by the US. What a mess.
Referee standard for this WC has been shocking, this game is just icing on the cake for them. And I thought the men were bad.
Or, option 3, stop spending money on trying to get World Cup tournaments held here (since they'll just go to whoever has the biggest bribe) and use it to start buying up referees like Brazil.
If it was, the US team should call the FBI to arrest the referee straight after the game . Shame that referees decision can turn such an important game. A football team needs luck at time.
