how is this possible? wow...just click on the "Watch Live" link on the mlsnet.com site and i got a connection to the chicago game LIVE. It's through Yahoo but I didn't even register. How is this possible? Is anyone using the same method?
There have been a ton of threads about this service (Yahoo Plus) the last couple weeks. Look on page 2 or 3 of mls n&a.
It only works for me using Internet Explorer. Mozilla or Netscape do not work. You can actually watch multiple games at once if you have enough bandwidth.
I'm familiar with Yahoo Plus, but why is being offered for free? I thought Yahoo was charging $5 or so a month for this service last year.
For anyone watching the San Jose - Revs game online, the video feed is now of FSW. Seems they didn;t turn it off yet. I'm gonna keep it online for as long as possible. Maybe I could get a permanent FSW video feed!
This has to be one of the most fan-friendly things that any sporting league has ever done for its fans. This is absolutely fantastic and a truly class act on the part of the league.
April is free, after that i think it's $5.95 a month. It's called "free trial" (an innovative marketing concept ), the goal of it is to give you just enough product to get you addicted, so you'll pay for a lot more later on.
Ah ha. That's what I was thinking, but I'm surprised they didn't ask me to sign up and give them a credit card number to enjoy a "free trial".
When it is $5.95 a month can I get it for just the MLS season? Or do I have to subscribe to the whole year?
I thought we concluded in the previous thread that this was not part of Yahoo Plus and would be free all season.
You may be right, I don't have very good short-term memory due to the massive amount of Newcastle I've consumed in the last two weeks.
it simply made my night...I was watching LA-COL, DAL-CHI, and KC-CLB at the same time!!! also I don't know if anyone stuck around but after the LA game was over, they kept the video and audio feed at the stadium as I'm assuming whatever channel it was went to commercials...so out of nowhere Max Bretos starts singing to him self...it was frickin hilarious...he had no idea the audio feed was still on I guess...ahaha
I heard it, and if I had any respect for him, I would've lost it right there. Fortunately I haven't had any respect for Bretos in years.
Let's continue to pray that it remains free...just noticed it last weekend (COL v LA). I'm moving to Japan in June, so it'll be hard to get the "Direct Kick" package...
What are you complaining about? I follow Leicester so I have an excuse for blocking out short-term memory. You guys are joint 4th and in the UEFA Cup semis!
Finally access to the Fire for non-ESPN games. This service won't last forever. MLS will realize they can make money off of it and charge like Yahoo does for their services.
word. as long as it's less than say...um...$10. hey, i'm a starving gradstudent. okay, not exactly starving, but still grad.
