No neighbourhood classic, Defensores de Belgrano failed to win the promotion and relegation series against Independiente Rivadavia.

Seeing Carrizo like that, I hope he does not drag down the NT at the Copa. I do not think he is going to start but the guy will sure be a buzz kill.

They are professionals. They will cope.

I am more worried about the gallinas targeting our NT just to piss off Grondona. Not unlikely if you read the comments on BS.

Bro, he's guaranteed to be the starter.

Haven't you read RiverGaucho's various and sundry proclamations to that effect?

Just a friendly reminder that while this is a rivalries thread, it is not okay to throw jabs at individual posters. Attack argument all you want, attack the team ( I know, LBDT has already done that) but don't attack fellow posters.

    With that said.

They're going around from tearing up their own stadium, to destroying their own museum and now they're bombing their own dirigentes homes. Hey, at least they're consistent!

It's going to get worse for riBer before it gets better. I don't believe they've established just how many points they'll start the torneo docked if at all and then the matter of how many matches gets played behind closed doors. They lack a lot of talent and aren't really going to be able to buy so them being a mid table team in La B is realistic. Better them than us and on top of it this better play as a warning to our club to get focused and straightened up.

I'd take Cavigol as an adequate replacement for Martin. Boy would that sting riBer :D

Yeeaaah! Where do I sign for that? I volunteer to go pick him up from wherever he is. Could you imagine that happening though? Some Riber fans would jump off a building, and slit their wrists on the way down to make it quicker. That would be too much of a blow.

    Re: The anti-River thread

Many RiBer fans want Lamela to stay and help them return to la Primera. I find that unfair to the kid since, all bias aside, he is talented, young and has an opportunity to do something in Europe. Sorry gallinas, its only going to get worse before it gets any better for you guys

Do you think they might go down to la B Metropolitana?? That would be intriguing :D

I know we are in the B, I/We can never let it down, but....

we are going to sign Cavenaghi, Chori Dominguez, Chacho Coudet, Chino Garce, amongst others... and you all have Shiavi??? and Franco Sosa?

like i said, I can't deny we're in worse shape (make fun all you want i've accepted it) but at least we can incorporate real players, i mean who is franco sosa????

But like i said, this just represents the fall of argentine futbol

    Re: The anti-River thread

I remember 10 years ago watching VideoMatch and watching Tinelli joke about Carlos Bianchi's convocados.. and there being a picture of a bunch of dogs,, In other words Bianchi was convocando puros perros..! These perros would end up at the very top half of the table that year! So what if nobody knows Sosa ,, if he does well ... better to have a nobody that performs rather than a big name that disappoints..! .... "burrito" ring a bell???
