i can't necessarily disagree with that. before Dolo even came out, Mexico was already clicking on all cylinders, and i think we all know that Spector is not our savior...but given the fact that Spector is a better player than Bornstein and the fact we had to completely switch our tactics, it was just a horrible sub.

Seal Team 6 flew into the Wolf's Lair and killed Hitler. It's on the internet.

*Sadly, in 10 years, someone will believe this

    Probably

For me, and I'm sure you'll agree with the analogy, the difference between the two subs is akin to which side of the Humvee you're on when the IED goes off.

You're gonna be ********ed up either way.

Mexico would've won 3-2 instead of 4-2 probably. Not saying that he could've prevented any of the goals, but the US would've at least been more organized and not so out of place/position.

actually, that's a pretty bad analogy. there are so many different size explosives and depending on exactly where they hit on the vehicle (especially, a better protected vehicle like a Stryker which is what i rode in when i was mounted) that the side of the vehicle you are on can either mean death, loss of a limb, or not even a scratch....not taking into fact if the explosion actually pierces the armor or not, if the vehicle flips, or sadly, if someone else takes the blunt of the blast. Sometimes, an IED just might blow the tread off of the tires and barely even scratch the vehicle...other times, it'll tear an Abram to shreds. it's really a luck game every time.

Did you see the depth the spurs had in that winger position? lol no way he was getting the nod over SWP or Bentley at that time. NOOOO WAY. lol

I never understood why these up and coming players went to clubs with depth in their position. Must be arrogance. But, it doesn't matter how good you will be, if your coach has 2-3 proven talented players ahead of you then you'll be driving a bench until the 80th minute of a low standard FA cup game.

He'd of been more suited at a lower table team and if his stock goes up then take the jump because he'll be guaranteed a starting 11 spot.

It's easy to blame Bornstein solely, but we really didn't have any midfielders tracking back on the wings, either. No way should Gio have had enough time
to dribble around the box the way he did.

thats why putting bornstein and dempsey on the same side was retarded.
