very good game for us after the 30 minute mark. Our attack was deadly for the most part, and our talent level is very solid. Looking forward to our 2nd game.

Can't forget Charles who kept us in the game early with a few nice saves. He was solid throughout.

i dont really remember the U17 South American Championship, but my friend said he was pretty terrible in it -- let in some really soft goals. glad to see he's developed in the past 4 months and really made some great saves.

    Ademilson = Walter 2.0

    In appearance aswell.

Anyways - great plays on the counter, good fluidity for a first game and you can see this team are coordinated on offense.

I still dislike the defence and midfield, and I think this game could've went easily to the other side if Denmark would've gotten thier rightfull lead thus helping them play against an defensively exposed Brazil looking to equallize - but thats football.

The offensive powers are fantastic as we all knew - Ademilson is a great suprise from the SA championship and he's easily been the best player on the pitch, even without his goals - his passing and understanding and in generall all around play and effectiveness has been superb.

Denmark was(and still is) one of my favorites to win the tournement together with Holland Germany and Brazil, and it was a great confidence boost for Brazil to beat one of the top teams like this... Denmark really ran out of power in the 2nd half, and the heat really got to them.. looks like the weather is gonna really play a factor in this World-Cup.

Charles is awesome btw, in the Sudamericano he was quite a character - always shouting, always vocal, making fun to the camera etc.. his problerm is with the set-pieces and highballs, but today Denmark didn't test Brazil as far as set-pieces go.. but on the ground making stops he's pretty solid... he wasn't the first choise in the SA championship, but won over the starting position as time went on.

    Nice start. Me likes.

Ademilson is looking good, I will keep an eye on him. Shot accuracy/technique is rare among youngsters.

Charles was really good too, Wallace as well... I saw some good ( I would even say stylish!) tackles from our DMFs , dunno which one it was.

Anyway, I don't follow U-17 much ( I prefer U-20) but if Denmark is our strongest opponent in group stage, this game was quite impressive.

The 3-0 was also big for our goal difference, in case it comes to that. Good thing since the likely second-placed teams in Group E are pretty weak -- Burkina Faso, Panama, or Ecuador (who got killed by Germany 6-1 today).

In most houses the 3rd placed team will advance too.

A win practically guarantees you a spot.

oof. not a fan of this brazil kit set-up. blue shorts with our blue shirt? i've never seen that combo.

and it looks even worse since the shirt is teal and the shorts are royal blue.

some decent combinations and counter attacks, but nothing that was a great chance. Defensively after the first 15 or so minutes we have settled down a bit.

and not much more from Adryan. As negative, Piazon not only did NOTHING (even more negative for Chelsea uhauhauha) as he got a yellow card for diving.

and another brazilian player also dove seeking a penalty.

CBF should take severe measures against diving. Its getting worse each time!

i actually didnt think piazon's dive was that bad. it wasnt a foul and it just looked like he lost his balance and stumbled to the floor. he was pretty quiet today. but i do think that australia did a good job of defending. they really packed the middle so it was tough for piazon to really do anything.

The perfect free kick. Other than that I thought our kids did ok, but that was a pearler. No defending against that.

Ademilson with an excellent through ball to Piazon who was all alone with the keeper for the easy goal. 1-0

We are raining goals right now. Ademilson with a decent shot at the top of the key(left side). Goalie should have had it though. 2-1 Brazil

It's 2-2 at halftime. Souleymane Coulibaly is kicking Brazil's ass with two goals by himself.
I'm watching in the USA on ESPNU. I dont understand why Brazil wasn't prepared for Souleymane Coulibaly he scored four against Denmark.
