Kljestan has been good each time he's played in this tournament, including today. He was also a better MLS player than all these Jamaican guys that have the U.S. fan base crapping its collective pants. Whatever. If people weren't whining, it wouldn't be a U.S. match.
I love how Lichaj is providing some width on the left side. Its something this US team has needed for years. This formation allows the fullbacks to get into the attack much easier.
Jamaica is seriously pissing me off. They are not even TRYING to play football. They ust put every man in their own half. Obviously playing for a 0 - 0 tie.
We are playing fairly well in terms of maintaining possession and playing down the flanks, but we will not be a true threat until we can play through the center as well. On a side note, Jones has my vote for the NAT most likely to break someone's leg.
That or maybe the players are simply not good enough? Nah, you're right, this "misplace crosses and passes as much as possible" tactic is obviously an instruction from the manager C'mon bro
28' 0-0 USA lobs another wistful ~30m cross from the sideline (usually right touch, from Cherundolo) to the 6-top scrum. We're fishing.
