Brothers? Since When? Their are no brothers in Futbol and much less in the political arena. I guess since they are brothers, Colombia can keep invading ecuador and bomb whatever they want. I'll remember this "Brothers" atitutude when Colombia beats Ecuador in Quito and Colombia for qualifying.:D

From the beginning i never had faith in Rueda. Ive made it clear that had I been FEF president, I would have hired Bauza January 2010. A part of me is hoping that we have a horrible Copa America, Bauza finishes this campaign with Liga and we make him an offer and he hops on board.

I dont mean to knock Saritama, the guy does go all out but hes an average player who compensates for his lack of talent by busting his back on the field. hes average at best. Hes just not the type of player i would want on the field when we play Argentina in a WCQ game.

No. Results from the Rueda era so far:

    Sat 04/09/10 FRI Mexico 1 - 2 Ecuador
    Tue 07/09/10 FRI Venezuela 1 - 0 Ecuador
    Fri 08/10/10 FRI Ecuador 0 - 1 Colombia
    Tue 12/10/10 FRI Ecuador 2 - 2 Poland
    Wed 17/11/10 FRI Ecuador 4 - 1 Venezuela
    Wed 09/02/11 FRI Honduras P1 - 1P Ecuador
    Sat 26/03/11 FRI Ecuador 0 - 2 Colombia

    7 matches
    2 wins, 2 ties, 3 losses

So the record is poor, but what's concerning is the performance and the team selection. Everybody on this forum has seen most of these players for years now, playing for club, country and the youth levels. We know what they can do and what they can't do. And we're seeing the systems and choices Rueda is making and not only are they difficult to understand...they're not winning.

For the most part, you can't even get people from the costa and the sierra to admit they are brothers either. lol...

At least last qualifier we played beautifully and it was the most aggressive Ecuador I think anyone has seen, but we were ineffective b/c our strikers were still ripe. Now that our strikers have progressed, we are stuck with a coach that has us playing defensively and UGLY.

If we played the same way we did last qualifier but with the potential effectiveness that Benitez and Caicedo could both ACTUALLY give us this time, we'd see the NT at it's full potential.

I guess you're not a member of this Facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=14603862902

If you couldn't tell, some posts were deleted due to offensive remarks. I'm trying to keep things civil, and now there you go talking about invasions and bombs. You are like a child.

Ok so that's Pedro Quinonez who doesn't like him, Felipe who doesn't like him, Guerron doesn't like him, and Ivan Hurtado basically sh*ts on him every time they interview him.

So Pedro Quinonez isn't on the NT b/c he's a "hazardous player" according to Rueda since he gets carded a lot? True. He does foul a lot and I've always noticed that as being his greatest weakness, but Rueda has a way of putting these guys on the spot for ridiculous reasons. He's a clown.

Rueda is a joke. He called up Joa Plata and said que el va a salvar la patria...and then only gives Plata like 3mins in the only friendly he participated in againts Canada. I don't agree that Plata va a salvar la patria, but if you say that and then don't even play the guy decent minutes you come out looking stupid. Rueda seems like a little Bi t ch . Always switching up his stories.

Joao Plata "salvando la patria" lol that sh*t was too funny. He's an awesome player, but he's giving too much credit to someone playing in the MLS who hasn't even been on the U-20 NT squad.

Rueda is a piece of shit. He thinks he's in Honduras.. The latest new and this is Cut and Paste:

    2
    TARJETAS ROJAS

I know it sounds horrible but a part of me is wishing Ecuador get lit up in the Copa America. Something like 4-0 every game. That's the only way I can see Rueda getting fired. Even then its a long shot. I'm sorry but I just dont see Ecuador going anywhere with this guy. If the friendlies are any indication, Ecuador will probably lose in the final minutes against Paraguay, get torched by Brazil and tie with Venezuela. And Rueda will come out with something like: "El balance fue positivo y hesto servio para hacer un buen analysis para las eliminatorias." Rueda went on record saying that no team le "ha pasiado", thats true, but take a look at your record jackass, you tied more than half the games you coached, what does that say, your nothing more than mediocre!

yeah i heard that today. You know what's funny HE TOTALLY AVOIDED THAT QUESTION AND SAID HE DIDN'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT. lol If anyone looks it up, it's on teradeportes.com. He said he didn't want to talk about any players that weren't called up on the NT.

Everyone here agrees that Ivan Hurtado should retire for the national team but Rueda needs to be "CULTO" and at least have a sit down with Ivan and tell him whatever. I think Ivan deserves a bronze statue for what he's done for Ecuador both on and off the pitch. Like I said, Rueda thinks he's in Honduras and you can feel some nationalistic shit is on the lips of players and the press...It just a matter of time..

I would never wish that for Ecuador because Ecuador had work extremely hard for the past 30 years to get here. I sincerely hope Rueda succeeds and proves everyone wrong.
