Cardozo scored again to help Benfica beat Stuttgart 2-0 and advance to the next round of the Europa.

Santiago Salcedo scored twice to help Argentinos Jrs come from behind to beat America 3-1 in the Libertadores.

I hear Morel had a hell of a game against Real Madrid and not only was impassible on defense but had 2 good assists on what could have been goals for Depor.

I'm glad to know he hasn't lost his game.

Nice to hear that he still has some game left in him.

Paulo Da Silva has already made his debut with Zaragoza against Athletic Bilbao and could be starting against Barcelona tomorrow.

Eventho Zaragoza are probably gonna get raped, I hope Paulo can atleast have a good game and earn his starting spot.

Roman played all 90 minutes in River's 0-0 draw against Argentinos. We are the only team not to have allowed a goal so far in this tournament, and Roman has played every minute. Unfortunately, he hasn't been as good as he was last year, hes a bit reckless and he hits too many long balls, but overall hes getting the job done... i hope he continues on this steady path

    Thanks for the update.

He needs to mature a bit more as a player but overall he's solid and would be good for the NT.

Speaking of defenders, I hear Da Silva had a good game against Barcelona and could be starting again against Valencia on saturday. Not bad for a player that hasn't played in so long. I never understood why he never played at Sunderland, their defenders aren't that good at all and I could honestly say he's better and more experienced then what they had.

Same for Riveros, he's not getting playing time at all at Sunderland and besides Muntari and Richardson their midfield is garbage.

Aureliano Torres, Santiago Salcedo, and Federerico Santander all scored the winners for their teams San Lorenzo, Argentinos Jrs, and Toulouse FC respectively yesterday.

Haedo Valdez played most of the 2nd half against Real Madrid, couldnt play a full game as he was still recovering from injury, he's actually been injured alot actually hopefully he doesn't become the new Santa Cruz. Also he needs to leave Hercules for a team a lil bit better, the team has alot of potential but can't seem to get their act together.

He is pretty good, but not NT material yet, there are too many players that can be called up before him.

Not in the midfield, the midfield is the one area we're lacking in.

Hernan Perez scores 2 for Villarreal B against Barcelona B.

    Villarreal still lost 3-2 though.

Based from the friendlies, kid has alot of potential if anything he played better then the majority of the veterans.

Tacuara with a hell of a freekick today to give Benfica a 2-1 win over Braga in the UEFA semifinal matchup.

Sad to see Santa Cruz's career fall like this, he goes from being one of the top scorers in England to not being able to score a single goal in a team that's close to relegation.

Maybe he should make a move to Spain, our players seem to do well there.

Wow Hercules getting robbed big time.

A legit goal disallowed and Haedo gets sent off after the Racing player made such an obviously dive that Stevie Wonder would see.

Haedo was about to kick the ref's ass  :D

Riveros picked the last minute of the last game of the season to score his first premiership goal today lol hopefully he gets more chances next season or goes to another team.

Wigan saved themselves from relegation today with a 1-0 win, Alcaraz played all game.

And Veron and Dante are Mexican league champs with Pumas. Would be great to see Veron in Europe.
