No longer part of a free Ralphs mob in a GA section. Ha. You're funny. For what I may ask? No one can answer that question. I have done nothing wrong for the rumor and hearsay that you as a Vice President of Ralph's Mob are allowing to continue. Until you can prove on the basis of what you're saying, it's all rumor. Until I'd strongly recommend not talking about me in anyway in fear of legal trouble against you. Thank you I will see you at the game sunday in "your" section. I will also come in peace and expect no hostility. There will be no trouble b/c I am going there to see a soccer game. It's a GA section, and I can sit anywhere I want too. In fact, i am going to sit right behind you and there's nothing you can do about it. I'm there to watch soccer, I don't know what your there for. I really don't care if you guys like me or not. This is about a game and not what he/she said about things. If you want to live your life that, fine by me. But don't ruin my good time. I paid good money to see this team and it won't be ruined b/c certain mob members like caddy gossip and act like high schoolers. I'm too old for that stuff. Seriously, you crack me up Charles. As as always you can come to me personally if you have any problems with me. My door is always open. =)
Seb, you know I like you and I have no problems with you. It's just my opinion and I am sorry if I did offend you. I, personally think drums are a bad idea. We make fun of Miami for there drums and we do the same thing. Just my two cents. I think we need to focus on songs then repeating chants. Again, my two cents. You like doing it, keep on doing it. It's a free country. Do what makes you feel good at games.
I understand. No offense taken. I was just surprised that an old beat up drum could make that much noise, that's all. I guess its making its presence felt.
Here is my opinion: A drum and I mean one is good if their is around 100 of us singing and chanting, but if it's like the first preseason game at UF then it sucks. So for Sat..YES
Not sure exactly what the petty infghting has to do with a visiting supporters section. One CAN support the team, sit in GA and not be in the unofficial fan club. To the original poster... why not contact the FC Tampa Bay office and ask them? Contact information on their website at: http://fctampabay.com/index.php?id=65
Absolutely. Lots of seats in the stadium with no drama, thousands in fact. For specifics on who to contact I'd say ask for Lee Cohen, game day operations manager. Second would be Ryan Helfrick, the Mob's ticket rep and main guy for talking to about choosing seats, etc.
I wouldn't speak so forcefully, my man. Have you checked out the mirror lately?.... BTW, 4,442 last night against Minnesota. Great atmosphere w/loud fun from many, many folks wearing a ton of red 'n' yeller hoop jerseys in the stands. Hope a bunch of you can join the party in 4 weeks or so. Some folks in the Strikers feel that these 2 Florida teams could draw 10K to Lockhart. Just for old times sake, I guess......... I'd love that. Come on down and we'll see...
Good crowd last night. http://www.strikers.com/index.php?id=31&newsid=331 http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/soccer/fl-strikers-minnesota-game-0416-20110415,0,7403125.story
You see, my joke works because Sloth actually is one ugly turd. Yup we all saw this. Good to see and hopefully it holds. You guys could use some wins though, but not against us. Sorry.
So what exactly is the rule on drums at Al Lang? We are starting to plan our trip up for the July 4th game and got an email back from Ryan Helfrick with FCTB(via Evan Mitz with the Strikers): "No drums allowed! Sorry!" If so that's pretty damn bogus.
My guess is they'll keep the pole to 5' max until they get sued for an eye or head injury. I'll happen sooner or later. The minute that one of those flag corners snaps someone's face or eye is going to be a pretty nasty scene.
Must be a really new rule. I know for a fact that there has been a drum at Al Lang: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXFfP5QyU7k"]YouTube - Ralph's Mob in action 2011‏[/ame]
We've all seen the webcasts and heard you guys with the drum. We saw the ALF guidelines at the beginning of the year and while disappointed with the 1 drum rule, we at least were counting on being able to get one in. Is it just for visiting supporters?
I talked to the front office for you guys, no drums allowed except for us. Let me know who to PM and I'll give you a contact that you can call and see if they'll tell you any different.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this really isn't the Front Office's decision, right? I believe it's the St. Pete Baseball Commission that has the last say on what is allowed at Al Lang Field, since it's under their jurisdiction. It sucks, but hopefully it won't be too long before we get our own venue where the Front Office makes more Soccer fan-friendly rules.
Whoever is making the final decision, if one group can have flags and a drum, another should be allowed to as well. If they want to keep the general crowd from having flags/drums that's one thing, but an exception needs to be made when there are visiting fans. Limit it to that section(and the Mob section obviously). It seems so silly to me. Unlike the Yankees situation last year, there is no baseball team that plays at this stadium or stuck up "Yankee" attitude. I understand that the St. Pete Baseball Commission runs the place, but gimme a break, it's a soccer stadium now. If they want to worry about baseball they ought to head a few blocks to the west. You guys ought to bring up that flags and drums can be right at home in a baseball stadium(gotta love Japan): [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1mxseEdv8U"]YouTube - Chiba Lotte Marines La26,chant of Julio Ernest Zuleta‏[/ame]
