Hells no. The Thread title is one of the better ones we have. The next one should be "The Alex Song Experience" as per Daprince's suggestion

What Alex Song needs most is competition for his place. He's been like an idiot savant lately, popping up in very useful places and doing very useful things. However, what he hasn't done is his job and it's costing us.

To be fair to prince, half the posts on the forum have been proven to be equally misguided.

he was really good 2 years ago, considering it was his first as a first teamer, had a brilliant match against Roma where he marked Totti out the matcj\h

had a good start last season, and it appeared he would kick on, even had a MOTM-type performance at Anfield

ever since he had that back injury against Everton, he has regressed... good luck to dude

What lol? What if FIFA wakes up from their scandal and bans Cameroon for governmental interference?

Can we get Van Persie to punch the Dutch PM in the face? And can we build a time machine so he does it in 2006?

I don't understand why there are Arsenal fans who want to get rid of this guy.

He's an absolute brick wall in defense.

probably our MOTM. he also gave up the freekick that led to their goal (as soft as it was).

As we've discussed at length, guys have all the talent, just aren't consistent. When he dwells below the halfway line in our side of the field he's awesome. Thought he really asserted himself.

yeah, he made some ridiculously amazing stops/tackles/interceptions in the second half.

AND he didn't get carded today.

he's still not retaining the ball like he was two years ago. i'd like to see him get that back.
