Saw the same thing in the RSL vs. Vancouver match. All the Vancouver players raising their hands for offside and the player getting a step on them and scoring. Nice goal too.

We just don't have the players to do anything. This is going to be a LONG season.

Even if we get to the playoffs, we won't last passed the qualifier or semis.

Well... at least we came in 2nd. This was too sad to even get mad at. Two dumb@ss goals once again. Am I the only one tired of Freeman getting minutes? We need something to get done cuz this is just sad to see all over again. 2 seasons is just wrong to do to us.We've got some decent players, but there's obviously some dead weight.Right now, the DOM system is obviously no longer effective. We seriously need more than one creative person on the field besides Brad Davis.

    Wow,
SJ is not that good a team and they made us look pretty bad in the second half. We looked tired and we just did not do the work necessary to create anything going forward.

Corrales gave no time for Brad to look up - even thigh he did get some good dangerous crosses in.

Cam Weaver can not head anything on target. Hit the last one right at Busch the leprechaun.

Palmer gave the ball away countless times and which led to alot of attacks in our back third.

Not enough difference in ability or speed up top to open things up because defenders were stepping up to the ball every time we tried to get out of our side the whole second half.

Can we switch the ball around the filed a little more? This stuff of playing three guys within 10 feet of the sideline and trying to work it forward is getting pretty predictable and low percentage.

    God this team looked awful!

I say move Watson to Freeman's spot. With Watson's speed, he could be useful over there.

Yes...I'm getting tired of seeing Freeman, too.

Clark looked good as well, but the rest of the Dynamo look like a reserve team these days. They just don't seem to have the basic skills compared to other teams--can't hold onto the ball long enough to create anything.

Time to fly the Dynamo flag upside down.

Remember, this SJ team is not good and they were down Wondo and Ryan Johnson tonight.

YES! I almost forgot about the poor guy. He seems to be progressing more and more lately. If we clean house again this season I would definitely keep him the way he's playing right now. I also agree the rest of the guys just aren't keeping pace with the rest of the league. We seem slower than every team we've played this season, and our posession is just atrocious right now.

So...when do we start to panic?

Seriously, we just do not have the talent on the field to win games right now. We lack SPEED up top and I hate to say it but I sort of miss Oduro right now if only for the fact that he can stretch a defense (without the ball). We need an implication, someone who has potential to get in behind...and we simply don't have it right now without a masterful through ball by Davis, which we can't rely on every week.

Also, Freeman is lazy as ********. Palmer gets way too nervous on the ball and his first touch either gets caught in his feet, or goes 10 feet away from him, which leads to pretty much ALL of his problems.

This SJ team was garbage and we lost by multiple goals, simply unacceptable.

Why does everything have to be 1000 mph with out any change in speed? This was a bad game all around for the Dynamo. No composure whatsoever.

The organization and most of the fans have become dangerously complacent. The FO should hold a town hall meeting with season ticket holders and anyone who remotely cares about the Dynamo. The results of the last two years have been unacceptable and they have a lot of explaining to do. We're going absolutely nowhere.

    This.

I thought Palmer was originally a right back. May as well put him there.

    This.

    This.

    This.

    This.

In short, the Dynamo have become predictable and lack the personnel to overcome our technical deficiencies.

I will say this, the lone bright spot was...

...who am I kidding. There weren't any bright spots tonight. I didn't think anything could make me feel worse than the beatdown that the USA took at the hands of Spain today.

    I. Was. Wrong.

At what point will we see players like:

Graye (he can play CB too)
    Navas-Cobo (once healthy)
    Soto
    Dixon
(and Sarkodie on a consistent basis)

Clearly, the rebuilding will take longer and will need more player moves.

    Wow, the fans are furious.

    Honestly?

When Dom's no longer calling the shots. I say this because Dom doesn't tend to give these types of players a chance.

Right now most people are stuck b/t a rock and a hard place on that one. It sux to see us lose at all but, if we don't then the USSF has no reason to fire Bradley. They'll keep selling this guy as some genius who took us to the next level.

I also see if we [Dynamo] start losing to Chivas by 2 or more goals at home next week, I won't be surprised to hear fans booing.

"consider that history indicates we might be in the sort of game where we have to score a few to win."

What we got instead: tactical bankruptcy, rote subs for Ashe and Garey. The game's slipping away and you neither use your full sub compliment nor get Dixon on the field?

The West simply looks better again this year.

My sad hope is that in trying so darned hard to make this set of players work -- and it may take a few more dogs for it to be allowed to sink in -- Dom will finally get that some of these guys don't cut it. Too many work horses, not enough special players. Need speed, need the ability to break down a defense. You are not going to win games hoofing hopeful crosses (service and finishing seems to have decayed) and otherwise playing back passes. This needs to become a more positive team to be a winner.

Every time DK plays Garey I wonder if he gets that we need to be more positive and virtuoso to be a winner.
