I don't. My retirement monies have rebounded and are earning 10% right now. I have a job (knock on wood) and now I'm looking to buy a house. My friends had a baby born with a heart defect but they were able to get insurance for him even with his pre-existing condition. I'm not a child but I was inspired to start eating healthy again and combined with exercise I lost 40 pounds. Plus, next week I'm going to Hawaii.

Now that I think about it, 2008 kinda sucked for me personally, and the election was satisfying and cathartic for that reason.

THANKS A LOT FOR BRINGING BACK BAD MEMORIES, DICKWAD.

I do radiant floor heating (resistance wire for under tile). Once regular customers from whom I havent heard on over two years are calling again. Sales are up. Construction is beginning to resurrect. If we dont partisan ourselves into extinction Im optimistic.

    A more approriate theme:

"Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away...."

Amd I find it incredibly offensive to point out the President is severely numerically challenged.

Obama should've known the consequences when his goons killed the inventor of the TelePrompTer.

Seriously, what's with getting simple numbers wrong? Or maybe he hasn't written a check since '08?

Getting simple numbers wrong is merely amusing. When simple numbers are followed by 12 zeros things get problematic.

As part of a volunteer activity, I accept checks from ppl weekly and bi-weekly. I look at the ledger once a month and I see half the ppl write 80% of their checks to us. Then there are ppl w/ several check booklets floating around and they write about 70% of their checks to us. Only 25% of ppl write checks as if it were the 80's. (This demographic skews heavily under 40, fwiw.)

I couldn't find the auto bailout thread, so I'll put this here.

Obama failed to let the auto industry die.
