We should trade Pause. Since he's such a reliable MLS veteran, we're sure to get alot for him.

Must have found Osorio's leftover box of goodies, maybe he'll bust out some post it's mid game and start jotting down notes.

This game was hard to watch. De Los Cobos has to go. It's just not good enough. 11K people there to watch them struggle to a tie at home against a bottom dwelling club. It's must improve. Even if sacking Carlos is only symbolic, at this depth, it's a point that needs to be made.

Time to blow this shit up. The entire coaching staff has to go. Now.

We have some young players who could actually BE something if they were properly coached in a system that made us more than the sum of our parts instead of less as they are now. The rest can just leave.

But we have to just rip this team apart from top to bottom and get ready for next year. The sooner the better.

A gynecologist had a burning desire to change careers and become a mechanic. So she found out from her local tech college what was involved, signed up for evening classes and attended diligently, learning all she could.

When time for the practical exam approached, she prepared carefully for weeks, and completed the exam with tremendous skill. When the results came back, she was surprised to find that she had obtained a mark of 150%. Fearing an error, she called the instructor, saying "I don't want to appear ungrateful for such an outstanding result, but I wondered if there had been an error which needed adjusting."

The instructor said, "During the exam, you took the engine apart perfectly, which was worth 50% of the total mark. You put the engine back together again perfectly, which is also worth 50% of the mark. I gave you an extra 50% because you did all of it THROUGH the muffler..."

And this is why I'm leaning towards Wynalda. He'll either motivate the kids or it'll blow. Either way it'll be more interesting.

I was initially on the fence on Waldo as coach but I'm starting to think that while he may or may not be a long-term solution, he's probably what this team needs right now. We need someone who has the balls to walk in and immediately begin sorting the wheat from the chaff and do it with the cold-blooded ruthlessness of a corporate hatchetman.

Sign me up for the Waldo bandwagon.

An elderly man goes into a whorehouse and tells the madam he would like a young girl for the night. Surprised, she looks at the guyn and asks how old he is. “I’m 90 years old,” he says.

“90?!” replies the madam. “Don’t you realize you’ve had it?”

“Oh, sorry…” says the old man, “How much do I owe you?”

Waldo specific banner: 6 king-size white bedsheets from wal-mart. 1-2 cans of red spray paint. one word (in all caps) per sheet. "WHERE'S" "WALDO?" "FIRE" "DE LOSer" "COBOS" "NOW!!!" along the upper parts of 117/118. Total cost would be like $40 or something.

In 2007, DJ, myself, and a few others did something similar that read "CAN" "THE" "CHAN" He was gone immediately. Coincidence? I('d like to) think not. We were very careful to display it only after we lost, and only after every last player had left the field. The way we did it you could see and read the message clearly from the south end. The FO will get the message even if they don't act on it, and so will DLC.

    "RUN DLC! RUN AWAY!!!"

I will go to my first game of the season if I can be in on this gag. And I'll bring a few friends.

Let's sell the mutha out and get ourselves on ESPN.

Way better than the paper bag idea, even though that's a classic.

    No.

At this point, I'd like to give Bone several game as CAM and Husidic several games at d-mid. They seem to be the most likely best pairing for next year. I'd also like to see Chavez at CAM preferably against ManUre or maybe in our next USOC game to see what he can do there since that's where he seems to really want to play.

I don't think DLC is going to ultimately settle on Pause and Videira as our two d-mids. I think he'll keep Pause and Paladini as our two d-mids. Aside from the fact that playing two d-mids is a crime against God and country, none of those three players works as a d-mid in our attacking scheme. Pause needs a #10 that we don't have. Paladini is apparently really an attacking midfielder and I didn't see much from Videira anywhere except for the Seattle game.

A husband and wife are getting all snugly in bed. The passion is really heating up. But then the wife stops and says, "I don't feel like it. I just want you to hold me."

    The husband says "WHAT???"

The wife explains that he must not be in tune with her emotional needs as a woman. The husband realizes that nothing is going to happen tonight and he might as well deal with it.

So the next day the husband takes her shopping at a Neiman Marcus. He walks around and had her try on three very expensive outfits. And then tells his wife, "Let's carry all three of them so you can find accessories."

Then they go over to the shoe department and she selects matching shoes worth $200 each.

Finally, they go to the jewelry department and she picks out a set of 24 karat diamond earrings with matching tennis bracelet.

The wife is jumping up and down, so excited she cannot even believe what is going on. She says "I'm ready to go. Let's go to the cash register. "

The husband says, "Oh no no no, honey, we're not going to buy all this stuff."

    The wife face goes blank.

"No dear, I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while."

Her face gets really red she is about to explode in a ball of white hot fury when the husband says "Well, you must not be in tune with my financial needs as a MAN!"

Guaranteed salaries are a bitch, aren't they?

How much does DLC's anchor weigh? How much is his guaranteed salary?

The good: Keep CDLC (til the end of the year). Team does play better and better each week.

The bad: FIRE KLOPAS yesterday. Just simply no clue. Wollard and King are now starting for DCU.

Agree with posters. Bench Logan Pause until we have a lead or tie to defend after the 60th minute. Bone is starting to come around.

The ugly: As fans, it is our duty to make sure Andrew's next movie is a hit! He might have some money to spend on our roster again then.

Klopas may or may not have to go, but the immediate problem is dlC, and I fear that his guaranteed salary also guarantees him a job until the last minute of the last match of the regular season. This season, the Fire will NOT be making the playoffs with him at the helm, with or without Pardo or anyone else on the roster.

He was unprotected. Theory was that it was a result of his loan conditions.
