I remember trying to talk my mom into buying me the original predators when they came out. It was a very short conversation. I remember getting my World Cup's (sg copa's) in high school; were the first high end boot I ever owned.

If/when I have kids, I'll give them $100 to buy boots, if they want anything more expensive than that, get a job. Of course, they could borrow from my collection.

 

Is it true that the adidas leather balsam only comes with the orange adiZero's and not the black and bright green ones?

 

Dunno if that's true but that's pretty lame if it's true. TBF though there's not much leather on the boot to begin with. And everyone who wears leather boots should already have Chelsea leather food in the cupboard.

 

It came with the Black/Green ones too. I should know because I have the Black/Green ones. IMO these are a better colourway than the Orange ones.

 

Kind of funny that Preds appear to be getting less gimmicky with each new version when the original boot was arguably responsible for ushering in the gimmick era in the first place. Wonder if we'll eventually get to a Pred with no "Predator elements."

 

Haha.. To be fair I do pay for a percentage of it. Would feel guilty making my mum pay full-price.

i just went back to my super ligeras and tiempos and was fine again
adizeros have been fine for me as well, so i guess it's just that ur feet dont fit the boot
try freezing up a bottle of water and rolling it under ur foot while sitting
worked for me and alleviated the pain

JonIsAnOwl and Darren_Fletcher, thank you for helping me out with my problem. I tried the wear your boots in the shower trick just too see if the extra bit of molding might change things up because it's only on one heel. Let's hope this works. I'll provide an update in the coming days.
