Thank you !!!!!! Forever Metro I liked it, and look who I support. That wasn't smack at all, I saw it as support for my club and not for the corporate modern game we're playing
I first saw that from Kansas City a couple seasons ago. Their guy was in the 19th Century U.S. Army uniform, as it somewhat relates to the fort history in that region. Not really 'respectable' to Mr. Warmth though I bet lol
I really hope that the reason for "your last Banner" wasn't because, they (the FO) didn't allow it in the stadium. We all have to deal with bullshit like this in the MLS, I remember when one of my banner was remove by the Oakland police because it was considered "offensive" to the visiting team. The visinting team was LA Galaxy, the banner says: EVEN BECKHAM DOESN'T LIKE YOU! Thank goodness we dont play in Oakland no more. Now the banner is part of the colection for the Historical Museum of San Jose
no I ment last banner(as most recent) I made definitely not my last one I'll ever make gonna make one for RedBull new york. Srry I have no pic this, just wanted to clear this up.

Simply incredible to see something like that completely planned, funded, stitched, painted, rolled, and unfurled by an independent supporters group... still brings a tear to my eye. Bar raised.
This video captures the unveiling of all the tifo around the stadium pretty good. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xozxcJ6Shmg"]YouTube - Sounders vs. Timbers Tifo 2011[/ame] North End Faithfull as well as Timbers Army Not my picture.
Phenomenal work Seattle. The displays around the league are getting bigger and better each year. What does the 48 seconds thing refer to?
Roger Levesque scored in 48 seconds in the 2009 USOC game. During the goal celebration Jaqua chopped him down like a tree.
Very large display by Seattle. Does anybody have info about the materials and finishing? Were these printed by a commercial print shop or painted by hand and brush? I ask because in the video you get the sense that the banners are rather light which would be hard to accomplish with hand painted acrylic.I'm guessing the actual fabrication of the banners was a for-hire commercial effort?
Commercial or non-commercial? That matters only to a few hardcore here but to me the unveiling had the air of the Milan-Inter derby at the San Siro. The bar has been raised indeed. If only the Seattle FO could raise the cap on the away tifo now.
Everything was done by hand. Sewing, line art, painting, everything. Cloth and acrylic paint. Same exact thing we've done for all of our large overheads.
Very impressive. Good stuff from both sides last night. Incident free for the traveling 515 confirmed by the sounders head of security. Looking forward to july.
