Excellent format for the thread Raj.

This should be a comfortable match regardless of the location. I expect the lads to be up for it given what is at stake. I think we've all been a little guilty of claiming the trophy before it is actually secured, but it is hard not to. Let us go out and make it official.

I'd like to see Fletch play and I'd also like to see Rooney and Giggs rested - possibly Park too, given the shift he put in against Chelsea.

    -----------------------Berbatov
    Nani-------------------Anderson-------------------Valencia
    --------Carrick/Scholes-------------Fletcher
    Fabio-----------------------------------------------O'Shea
    ------------Vidic------------------Evans/Smalling
    -------------------------VDS

    Bench:

    Lindegaard
    Rafael
    Evans/Smalling
    Scholes/Carrick
    Rooney
    Cheech
*deserving youth player - I wouldn't mind Tunnicliffe or Pogba

One if not both of either Berba and Owen should see the pitch in this match. Roon needs a bit of a rest as does Cheech..

Put on team Schalke. That should be enough to at least draw the match.

I cannot disagree with SAF fielding the B-team, but it does highlight the conflict between loyalty and keeping with the best interests for one's team vs. Rule E20 (full strength sides only).

Some rules cannot be followed absolutely.

    Johno's lineup isn't a B team.

The back 4 has played pretty consistently. VDS is our starting goalkeeper. our midfield is always rotating, and Carric/Scholes-Fletch is fairly common.

Our attack has the leading goal scorer, leading assister, Anderson and someone that has been one of the best players in the world since returning from injury.

Is Evra injured or just getting a (well deserved) extended period of rest?

FA should manage the teams themselves if they think they are better position to tell who should play and who shouldnt, what is the 25 member squad for. And we are going to make changes, perhaps less than Cl semi final.

I would love to se the FA try to fine us for starting both the leading scorer and the assist leader in the Prem. :)

He picked up a knock when he came on as a sub, but it wasn't anything serious. I believe they are just getting him some much needed rest and time to heal up 100%.

It looks like Fergie will give VDS a rest, will "monitor" Javier, and look to play Fletcher. It looks like Fergie has Fletcher in his plans for May 28.

    Know how you feel.

Think Cheech will get the start, probably Scholes/Fletch or Fletch/Carrick in CM. Can't see Rooney playing if I'm honest, but he'll probably harangue Fergie into it.

Hernandez and Rooney will start no doubt. This fixture pretty much seals the deal for them. i dont think saf will leave anything to chance and start the strongest team at his disposal.

I am starting to wonder if this is why we seem to have the "celebration" after the Chelsea victory. It is going to be kind of awkward to clinch the title with the likes of Rio, Rooney, Cheech, and Giggs on the bench. VDS isn't even going to be there.

I don't care how much this is ours to give away, I refuse to take anything for granted. Not that I don't believe in our team, but nobody, from Fergie to the fans should lose sight of the fact we still have a job to do.
