Yep. I remember first thinking he had a touch of the "sophomore slump" but then I hear the rumors that he was shopping himself in europe. I recall one bad goal -- I want to say it was against Houston -- when CJ lit into him. Anyway, Bunge, while you are re-watching the best of 2009, you might want to check out the game AFTER the incident and after Bakary was suspended. We played very well, very focused and with a lot of passion. I remember being concerned that Denis could lose the team over a poor decision to get into a physical confrontation with a player. Instead, it seemed the team reacted quite well.
I literally walked into Denis and Jesse Marsch on Ohio St one weekend and beyond the pleasantries encouraged Denis to get back to the league. I think MLS players need him and I'm pleased that Tommy Soehn at least helped arrange the interview. The man has a lot to offer players and can be very effective in delivering his message. Where does this leave Illinois Tech and FC Drive?

Never understood the hate for Hammer. Guy got us to two Eastern Conference Finals, something we will not be doing for a very long time. The trajectory for the Fire now is something straight out of Chicago Cubs history.
