Just an update on this guy, one of my mates had an exclusive intimate tour of the training ground and Stamford Bridge, which included meeting all the players! Part of some competition he had won...Luiz was mobbed by the competition winners apparently. Anyway, the PR lady back at the Bridge tour said Luiz currently lives in the hotel, and because of his limited English abilities, and not much friends, he gets so bored, he pops down to the Megastore at random intervals and sign autographs for whichever fans happen to be there at the time! He truly is becoming a legend!
The joke in that interview is that Neil Barnett (from ChelseaTV) is the journalist voice you hear. He is known for constantly nodding his head while conducting interviews. Obviously the other players have sent him up there and told him what to do. I wonder what Barnett was thinking because it'd have been obvious to everyone there he was being openly mocked. But the "COME ON CHELSEEEAAA" is just too perfect
meh, it's a much different set of skills. When it comes down to it, never really impressed with his willingness to get stuck in, he certainly couldn't be an elite centerback. And I dont think Luiz could be that deadly down the flank, because he doesnt play that position, but I dont think Maicon has the same touch/possession/passing range skill package as Luiz.
Well, if you specify centerback I cannot think of anyone else. But he was brilliant in attack and very good in defense last year. Surely an elite wingback.

Does anyone actually hate Luiz? Thanks for the image. Just got a new laptop and I needed a desktop background
