Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren True but Conor is 18 he still has time to develop and learn. Euan will turn 23 in February. Now 5 years isn't a lot in regular terms but for soccer its a lot. Still I wish him the best. They took a chance with Conor and it looks to be working so who knows.
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren Hell, I got to hand it to the kid, he's getting some pretty good trials for a kid who's not even done anything in American soccer. I hope this points more to his ability than his bro's contacts
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren In fairness, he presumably earned the Danish contract on his merit.
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren Report doesn't say much about how he did last night, but he had at least one decent shot on goal. http://www.dcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10270~2182204,00.html
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren Derby have decided to keep him another week and give him some time in the next reserve match. http://www.therams.co.uk/news/Timel...-recovery/article-2764926-detail/article.html
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren Euan and Conor Doyle are named to the starting lineup for today's reserve match. http://www.dcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10270~2190507,00.html
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren Euan went the full 90, but no mention in the match report: http://www.dcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10270~2190949,00.html
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren Nothing new but an article about Stuart mentiones Euan. Now am I reading it right? It sounds like Stuart says Euan is also training with Bolton? http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/spor...550.Reebok_ace_Holden_relishes_derby_rivalry/
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren Via Stuart Holden: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...t-back-to-resurrect-broken-dream-2144832.html
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren Interesting. Leeds must be tight with some agent here in America.
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren Euan is now trialling with Oldham Athletic. http://www.oldham-chronicle.co.uk/news-features/10/oldham-athletic-news/52422/medi-misses-out
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren Seems like he's sliding down in quality a bit. He's still inside the 2 year marker with MLS. I'm sure the Dynamo wouldn't mind some more defensive help.
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren Doesn't look like his trial with Oldham is going very well. The first reserve match he was scheduled to play in had to be postponed, for today's match he was listed as a starter and then got injured in warmups and had to be replaced.
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren Euan seemed to have vanished for awhile, but he is on the roster for Oldham's reserve match. He does not appear on the team's roster page, however.
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren Hope we said good bye to Ceres too soon. I've changed the thread title to reflect his new status.
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren How about "Hjorring Himself Out: Euan Holden in Denmark?" Maybe a tad crass, but it jumped out at me, and I've never made a threat title recommendation before. http://www.yanks-abroad.com/get.php?mode=content&id=7665 YA's got it: Hopefully he's able to get a decent run of games in Denmark and maybe get a longer contract.
It doesn't appear that he was included in Hjørring's roster for their 1-1 draw with Hobro today, but they have another game on Monday against Skive.
Re: Euan Holden trial at St. Mirren LOOOOL. you sir....win the game. congratulations. we need a thread on principle
Scratch that - he was indeed a last-minute addition to the roster and came off the bench in the second half.
does anybody know the signing Window in the Scan Countries? And a guess at what the salary would be for a player of the quality of Holden
