The stadium atmosphere was amazing. If an outsider watched the game yesterday on ESPN2 they won’t believe that it is a American football game. I think you guys are probably even outdoing Seattle!

I watched it from Austin on ESPN last night and realized how far we've come since the Burn opener so many years ago. Good Job Portland.

Thank you very much. It was beautiful to see us make that jump from D2 to MLS last night. I highly suggest coming out for a match this season, the new field was even better than I expected :)

Wow, I mean what more can you say. As a soccer fan from Atlanta I can only wish to ever have that kind of atmosphere at a soccer game I attend. It was as good an advertisement for the sport as any and I must say in the smaller stadium then your rivals up north the fans looked even passionate and into it. Great job Portland!!!!!

The atmosphere was amazing. The chanting/singing was awesome.

Lets not jump the gun here. Seattle brings in what 36k. I would give Portland second but the sheer size of Seattle is amazing. Seattle has also has kept it up now since the start.

    Both are great though!

Amazing things happen when the ownership really cares about the fans. Seattle and Portland are some great examples. Almost makes me feel like we need to get rid of a team like Columbus (drop the to USL) and move a USL team up. The last three expansions from USl have been amazing.

Timbers Army was loud and proud last night, and sounded great. I laughed when they sang "please don't take my sunshine away" just as the Fire scored! Haha - great moment. Congrats on the home opening win! The Sounders-Timbers rivalry should be a real spectacle.

Not quite the Sunshine Goal we wanted there...

I have such a permagrin today after being in the Army last night. Couldn't get to sleep until after 4am. Too much adrenaline. If I may be so bold as to speak for thousands of people: thanks for all the kind words. We are so happy to be part of MLS and I think it showed. :D

Crazy idea but a smart phone app that will help noob supporters sync/show lyrics/chant will be great :)
