Kuszczak 7 - His ability to make a save isn't in question. It's the other attributes...
    O'Shea 5 -
    Smalling 7 -
    Vidic 6.5 -
    Evra 7 -
    Gibson 5 -
    Scholes 6.5 -
    Anderson 6.5 -
    Valencia 7 -
    Berbatov 6.5 -
Nani 7.5 - The frustrating thing about a footballing genius is that they tend to be a genius in their own way and not necessarily be an efficient genius. Still, they can win you games on their own...

Job done. Always nice to have a game like this that costs less energy than you expected, particularly during the run-in.

So people didn't feel Nani was particularly guilty of that complacent, lacksadaisical 2nd half approach that SAF lamented? I'm all for us turning on the style when we're in control but he was guilty of overdoing things quite a few times. For example that move where Berba passed to him and Nani declined the quick backheel, dragged the ball the other way, then back again to make the backheel that was no longer on. There were quite a few cases like that where he opted to overdo things and ended up slowing the play down/denying team-mates an opportunity to shine.

I'm hardly upset about it - I'd sooner we were lacksadaisical and won than spent too much energy/picked up injuries for the sake of a few more goals. But I thought his performance dropped off in the second half more than, say, Valencia's.
