I declined to quote a customer for home insurance today on the basis that they could not list if the previous owner had four goldfishes, or six. Called back 5 minutes later and got the sale.

Actually qauite well so far. Only moved over onto the actual sales floor yesterday (on the last day of the month, which is apparently usually crazy busy due to car insurance renewals) but it's quite chilled out so far. I'm on inbound calls, so people ring us for quotes, which is a serious weight off the shoulders. I'm apparently taking too long on calls, but a 2:1 call:sales ratio is hardly worth complaining about as far as I am concerned. Only took 6 calls in total today, but got 3 sales out of them again.

I'm also sat literally about 3ft away from the call evaluator (who makes sure you are following scripts, evaluations, etc) but she's actually really easy to get on with, so it's definitely a handy connection to make.

I wonder if that second game was against Blackpool or Wigan, not an FA Cup semi-final against City whose former chairman David Bernstein (for half a decade) so happens to now be the FA Chairman, would it have been one game or no games and a fine?

 

They were never going to overturn it after we won at the bridge last night and put ourselves in pole position to go through. The thought of us winning another t word is the FA's biggest nightmare.
