I love when that happens lol...we fell asleep after the penalty hoping to win 1-0. Udi came on well and had some great chances to score and get the three points. Credit to Riise for the nice run and cross on the goal. That goal could of saved the season for us.

Di Natale is still awesome man...shame we didn't sign him a few years ago.

    Roma - Chievo
    Bari - Roma
    Roma - Milan
    Catania - Roma
    Roma - Sampdoria

That's what we got going forward, I wasn't particularly convinced by our performance tonight so we can drop points at any point in time. Hopefully Lazio and Juve lose tomorrow and help keep us on the good path. Then we really need for Di Benedetto to put his signature on paper, so that Baldini can come and lay down some law. I want to believe when they arrive our performances will improve, there will be a little less nervousness.

A win against Palermo and Udine losing against Napoli next week will see us on level terms but with a better head-to-head result...

    Totti's comments

Francesco Totti explains why he chipped that penalty. “I wanted to prove I wasn’t finished. This is how Roma answer our critics.”

The captain bagged a brace in the heart-stopping 2-1 victory away to Udinese this evening, putting them within three points of fourth place.

“It was above all important for the three points tonight,” said Totti. “It was a victory against a side that would not give in, but we reacted strongly and it’s crucial for this season.

“Our enthusiasm is sky high and we proved with this result that we are worthy of the Champions League. We’ll fight to the end for this prize.”

He took a gamble when opening the scoring by taking the penalty with a cheeky chip.

“In crucial moments the big players come out. I wanted to prove I wasn’t finished. I can do everything and I’m happy for the entire team, as we always proved we wanted to win.

“Physically I’m in great shape, better than I was when aged 20. I wanted to react to all the criticism I received, as those hurt. This is how champions react. This is how Roma answer our critics.”

Do-able very do-able, if this result doesn't help Totti get the lads' hearts fired up, nothing will.

Udinese will be missing a few key players next week against Napoli.

There are lots of regrets for the whole season, so let's move on and hope for a better outcome - it's still more than possible

    Udine's schedule:
    Napoli - Udinese
    Udinese - Parma
    Fiorentina - Udinese
    Udinese - Lazio
    Chievo - Udinese
    Udinese - AC Milan

    Lazio's:
    Lazio - Parma (tomorrow)
    Catania - Lazio
    Inter Milan - Lazio
    Lazio - Juventus
    Udinese - Lazio
    Lazio - Genoa
    Lecce - Lazio

Only "sure" 3 points we can get is from Bari away. Other than that I'm not sure at all considering our shambolic form.

Personally I do not see any sure three points, but there are possible 18 points out there :)

We should be able to get most of the points, as all the tough games we have left are on Olimpico. Udinese, I think, will continue to struggle, and our real battle will be with Lazio and Juve.

They are destined to struggle without Sanchez (if the injury is serious enough to keep him out of the game for a couple of match-days)...Also, DI Natale was forced to play today, so he might also burn out...

I do not think Juve will revive because they win against us was a classic Roma loss and nothing special about Juve...

Lazio are dangerous on the other hand...Hope they lose their heads and lose all of their remaining games

One of the talking heads on Sky confirmed Baldini is involved with the new Roma. I think Montali has been dropped.

At that point i was content on a draw. After Totti messed up the free kick i gave up. The play caught me by surprise. What a finish to the game. Di Natale i think was in tears on the ground i think.
