Another example that Liberals judt don't understand economics. The last part of a recovery comes when jobs pick up. Keep trying to spin your way out of Bush's excellent recovery. Remember that it it was Clinton's recession, & the war on terror (Clinton treated terrorism ask a judicial prodeeding instead of a war).
The war on terror is the most important issue and Bush ownes both the war and economic issue.
Let's place our crosshairs on Liberalism!

Possibly the stupidest post I've ever seen on BS.

Most conservatives on the BS boards have admitted that Bush has been appeasing the government most supportive of terrorism in order to keep energy costs under control. The Saudis have seen no trouble from the Bushies, and in fact have a lobbyist working for them in the White House (James Baker makes more money if he can suppress information on 9/11 potentially embarrasing to the Saudi royal family.) If this is "owning" the war as a political issue, that is truly pathetic.

Clinton is gone, son. Move on. As to the "excellent recovery," I suggest you actually read the links. It's been pointed out the the 300,000 jobs just so happens to coincide with the .3 million raise in part-time employment. Are these jobs good? Yes, of course they are, and I'm glad people are working, but they aren't getting real "career" jobs. They are getting service sector jobs. On top of ALL of this, is the fact that with Bush cutting taxes even more than he cut Air Guard training, and spending like a mall-baby with a platinum card, any "recovery" will be an illusion. Eventually, the deficit spending will come back to bite us in the ass. History is repeating itself. In all reality, the best thing for the Republican party would be to see Bush lose. Whoever gets stuck with the first part of pulling this country out of it's new debt won't stand a chance of reelection. Bush's dad got stuck with that job after Reagan ran the economy like a college freshman runs a credit card. He had to raise taxes to avoid a massive economic disaster, and lost out to Clinton when the economy didn't respond fast enough. Clinton got the benefit of Bush 1's work on the defecit, and continued that work into the boom years. Whoever starts the job this time around will also likely lose. If Kerry wins, and actually tries to fix the economy, I highly doubt he will win a second term.
