    For a goodnight laugh-couldnt help but share...SOCCERMAN

The baltimore blast: Come the conqueror
As the international soccer world knows, the BALTIMORE BLAST will host the 2010 - 2011 MISL Championship Game. This not only is one of the biggest soccer matches anywhere, but probably the most important game in the history of indoor soccer.

With the Major Indoor Soccer League on the verge of again rising, it is vital that the BALTIMORE BLAST once again lead the way. A large attendance for the Championship Game is vital to impress some potential league investors who are on the fence. Witnessing 10,000 plus fans as the BLAST goes for WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP number 7, would further open eyes. It could mean the difference in bringing back the Philadelphia Kixx and the Harrisburg Heat knowing that they would have several travel partners. It could mean the return of the New Jersey Ironmen to really form a tough travel friendly east coast division. And if you really allow yourself to dream, those rumors of Carolina coming in may even come to fruition. Therefore, I urge any and everyone who can, that loves soccer, to either make your way to 1st Mariner or watch via the B2 feed.

The BLAST is good not only for indoor soccer, but soccer in general. This organization have survived all of the different leagues, all of the trends, all of the folded teams, all of the scoring systems. BALTIMORE has the longest, continuous run of professional soccer in the United States. Bring on the Milwaukee Wave. Bring on the Kansas City Comets. We’ll play whoever shows up on the hollowed grounds of 1st Mariner Arena.

For my part, I will be attending the game in a big way. I may even reveal myself to the world. I will see how to put this together, but for years, the blogoshere has be clamoring about who is Soccer-Man and where is he from. Well on March 25, those questions may be answered. More information may be forthcoming.

    GO BLAST!!!

LOL ROTF. The most important indoor soccer game ever? I don't think so. The game will just decide if the Blast, that is, put another championship banner up or not.

I do understand what he means about attendance though, that place will be packed to the rafters. Good example for the league.

However, I think it'd be best if the Comets beat out BOTH teams and win the Championship. It might just be the glimmer of hope in the off-season for a league with 2 dominant teams. Everyone was like "ohh it'll be the Blast and Wave at the Championship this year." Well now its looking like the Comets have a bigger chance of making it there.

ISN we are hanging a new banner no matter what as the regular season champions . I think the Commets Vs the Blast would be the best thing for the league right now because it would so investers an expanson team can win the 1st year in misl on a shoe string budget

Soccerman will reveal himself to the world LMAO ROTF I know everyone here just called the blast office to get tickets to the game just to find out who he is before Denison will be honored I Guess the will announce who soccerman is & let him present denison with the award for his achievement

Give me a break no one cares who he is hes had hid behind his many screen names for years

I thought that rule was, if SPS was in place, millions would flock to the arenas. Look at the success of the PASL-Pro. Duh.

Because you're stupid and/or the American education system has failed you. No one ever said or implied what you "thought". Nor did anyone ever say or imply your Homer Screws jokes aee funny.

Just reading through this thread is a greatest hits of why I haven't been posting here much lately.

    cardshop:
--Teams don't have more to spend in the second year. In fact it's quite literally the opposite.
--The Blast will not put up a regular season banner if they lose the final.

    IndoorSoccerNews:
--Do you know what "packed top the rafters" means? Sure it will be a great crowd, but anything less than 11,125 is not packed to the rafters.

And Redhawk even showed up for a stupid catch phrase.

About the only intelligent comment in this thread was FifaMan's: "KC pulled in 3700 for a Wed night playoff game with only 3 days to sell. Not bad at all." I have to give them props for that. But then he blew it with his other post.

May God have mercy on your souls.

What is your take on someone who sold their soul to get the Sidekicks to return? Do you get a PASL team instead?

Ohh yeah, and if I did my math right thats over ten times bigger then an average (high) attendance for a PASL team.
