Lyon beat Sochaux 2-0 away this evening, with goals from Lisandro and Pjanic - 2 players I hate with all my heart . It will be important for Pepe/Carvalho to keep a watchful eye on Lisandro because he seems to be in good scoring form, scored a hat-trick last week.

I don't see it happening, since CR7 will be back. Mou will probably revert to his original formation of 4-2-3-1. Unfortunately, that could probably mean removing Benzema from this second striker position (where has been most effective) and putting him as the lone man up front (where he has had problems)

Benz started to find his form before being moved to the second striker position. He is developing into a world class striker, put him alone up front or in the support role, it doesn't matter at this point he will shine either way...it's just the support role gives him more time on the ball, without ronaldo, benz is basically the defacto ronaldo.

The thing is I have a feeling that mou will play with three pivots. If luck is on our side he may go two in the first half and switch to three in the second if we still have a clean sheet.

This is what I think too. I won't go as far as saying it could cost us the tie, but IMO Benz will be less effective than coming in from the left. That's why I would rather have had Adebayor score those 2 goals at the weekend, so we come in to the game with a true 9 who is in form. Oh well, we'll just have to see I guess.

Also, we had better not play with 3 DMs in our own home ground Remember the last time we did that against Bayern (away)? Turned out to be a goddamn disaster.
