Is this thing ever coming back? I thought that Hauptman committed to replacing it himself if it came to that. Maybe I'm beating a dead horse, but I feel like there hasn't been any news in a long time on this.
How do you lose a banner that size? I can't imagine someone would steal it or that it would be tossed in a dumpster by mistake. Isn't there a stadium manager someone could get in touch with to go look for the thing?
I'm pretty sure that it is certainly gone at this point. They ripped Toyota Park apart looking for it and the fact that Andrew Hauptman said that he would replace it, makes me think they already turned over every single rock. I'm just wondering when this commitment from the AH and the FO is going to finally come true. Or are they just hoping we forget about it?
Andrew has promised to pay for its replacement and the money is there. Section 8 Chicago has been working on a redesign and new production for a while and we've not been able to complete it at our end. The delay is not on Andrew or the front office, it's on us. It ain't easy to settle on design and production of something that big!
Great news Tom! I can't wait for the day that this thing comes out. It really makes the stadium look awesome. Also, thanks for standing up for Andrew and the FO. We throw them under the bus more than they probably deserve in these forums. It's nice to hear about the things they are doing right.
DLC's needs to do a better job getting the fans fit before the season... Bring back Osorio master mind of the fitness world. Or better yet... bring in Preki....

But it's old news, the slime responsible no longer works for the club, and we're working with the club to replace it. Still stings a bit, but we've moved on from the episode....mostly.
Good to see that we'll get the Megabandera back soon. Tell you what I miss, is that "FULL POWER" banner we had several years ago. IIRC, that banner was actually stolen, not "mishandled" by the FO. I still think that the old FULL POWER banner would make a great scarf . . . GREAT. FULL POWER
