Nicol and FO talk with supporters groups.

There were a few things worth mentioning. Revs attempted (and failed) to sign two DPs currently in Turkey (offered 7 figure salaries). They are currently pursuing two more DPs (both strikers).

Also, revs stadium talks have focused on two locations, but have been held up by red tape/other projects? Kinda confusing. But I have a feeling Kraft may want to judge support for this team before he builds (just my opinion).

RSL proves that when an american team wants it they can get it. Roll past a horrid Crew side that has NO excuses.. Anyone who has seen GBS play in Gimnasia the last two weeks can out right say "GBS was let go so the Crew can play like this?"

This isn't really a diss. If Forbes is trying to compile a number of supporting reasons to its assertion that Denver is a miserable sports city, the MLS champions Rapids won't even register. If the Rapids had been in DC's shoes last year, I'm pretty sure they'd get at least a small mention.

I wouldn't get too excited yet. Sometimes teams just aren't ready to play. In the other CCL semifinal, Cruz Azul had their way with Santos 5 - 1 on aggregate, winning both legs easily. It should set up a nice final.

Not sure how I feel about this. On one hand, Le Toux deserves DP money and he only made $122,000 last year. On the other hand, having the team's sponsors pay him seems like it's exploiting a loophole in the salary cap.
