I think Falcioni is showing a lot of huevos in taking Riquelme out and I respect that, but I don't like it.

If he is doing it because he wants Roman to be healthier then maybe I can understand it. But if he's doing it because he wants to play the 4-4-2, then that sucks. A system should not be prioritized over the best players available.

It's odd that he's not playing Erviti either. Hopefully Pochi will step up tonight and it will work out for the best. Anyway, I think we should beat All Boys, but that's what I thought last time. I'm sure Ortega will be motivated against us, so it should be an interesting game.

    AGUANTE BOCA!!!

He's taking Roman out? Like out of the squad or on the bench?

I am already not in love with the way the team has been playing under Falcioni so far...One defensive catastrophe & 1 lackluster offensive performance. If he is taking Roman out because he didn't like the way Roman was preparing himself in practice, I would respect it, but would still think that it's a stupid move. At this point, doing anything that risks dropping points, especially at home, is stupid. Now, if it's just because of the formation, that is mind blowing. Should the team get anything less than 3 points, then he should rightfully be put on the hot seat.
I hope it doesn't come to that.

Nice shot by Colazzo and then Mouche hits the post.

Boca should have scored, but they are playing poorly. All Boys stays back and Boca doesn't have any creativity. If Falcioni is dumb enough to not play Riquelme, at the very least he should bring in Erviti.

After watching the replay, that should have been a goal by Colazzo. He did not foul the goalie.

    ********ing ref!

Finally, Erviti for Somoza. Lets see if he can bring some creativity to the attack.

Boca has created more dangerous chances than you would have thought, considering that they are not playing well. Colazzo is playing his best match so far, but the final product isn't always up to par.

Let's see what Erviti can do...glad that Somoza is finally taken out of a match. I'm hoping that Viatri gets at least 25 minutes.

Chavez is out and Orfano makes his debut. Poor game by Pochi.

Thank you, Falcioni. It's not like we could have used those 2 points. That's now just 1 point out of a possible 6 at home...against weak opposition.
In the end, the crowd knew who the missing ingredient was. What a disappointment!

Surprised Boca didn't win with Pezotta? F'ing gallina ... that is like 8 games in a row we can't win when he refs.

Pezotta and JC can go F themselves.

To give some credit to Falcioni, the defense is starting to look better. No goals in two games, although of course All Boys never even tried.

But somebody needs to tell Falcioni that Boca is not Banfield. What works for a small team doesn't cut it at Boca. Playing hard and concentrating on defense is not enough here. He needs to be less a slave of the system and play those who have the most talent. He needs to let them play, and trust creativity.

I'm not just talking about playing Roman, although not playing him this week is the most obvious and significant example of Falcioni's shortcomings so far. Hopefully he'll grow into the role, or else he'll go the way of Borghi.

Well, as you said it yourself, All Boys never tried, what would have happened if they had tried?
Racing without their best player (Gio Moreno) created quite a lot of chances but this time Garcia didnt have bloopers.
I dont think at all the defence got better.
