Once again, the Dynamo are sucked into this Mickey Mouse tournament.

 

Not sure if anyone's seen Exit Through the Gift Shop, but for some reason what comes to mind is the image of Thierry Guetta being grilled for hours by Disney security under heat lamps while It's a Small World After All loops endlessly....after Banksy's Gitmo Doll stunt at Disneyland went public......

Does anyone recall how many games each team typically plays in this extravaganza?

 

Last year it was two games for each team. The Dynamo also played the University of Central Florida while they were in Orlando.

Might be different this year. Last year the tournament was two double-headers on Feb. 25 and 27. The Dynamo tweet said that this year's tournament is from Feb. 22-26 so they may be adding another round of games.

 

Was it two games? The winners play the winners in the 2nd game?

Unless it was like the Cibolo games where it was a round-robin w three games

Another cool thing is the Space Shuttle Discovery (STS-133) is scheduled to launch Feb. 24 from the Cape. There will only be 1 (or funding permitting, 2) shuttle missions after this before the fleet is retired. It's only an hour drive from Orlando.

My wife and I expect to be there for whatever the Saturday match is, wearing our Dynamo jerseys. We'll be out at the Cape for the STS-133 Shuttle launch (Discovery's last mission), which hopefully will be Thursday, so we'll miss that first game. We'll be looking for orange.
