    CHINESE SPOTTING

Arsenal reserve player, Nicholas Yennaris, is half Greek and half Chinese.
The Chinese FA, if they are reading this, could consider doing something to replace Zhao Peng's place.

I think Magath is preparing Hans Sarpei to play fullback in the Champions League return leg. Schalke is currently down 2-1 against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

First substitution: Metzelder off due to injury.
Second substitution: Hans Sarpei FB for Peer Kluge DM. Moved Schmitz (not Mortiz) FB to DM.

I don't know what Magath is doing down 2-1 against relegation-bound Mönchengladbach. Maybe he has given up on the league for next season's European qualification and is instead focusing on preparing for Champions League and DfB Pokal (winner gets Europa League spot).

    Third substitution: Wunderkind Draxler.

I can't wait for next year when Farfan gets sold.

I feel sorry for Hao. Magath is going to drill them to death in training as punishment.

Off topic: on Arsenal wanting to win all four trophies as Wenger said. Add a FA Cup replay into the fixture list. You guys will have run into the ground with exhaustion.

The Serbian league is starting back up next weekend, Dong Fangzhuo and Cheng Mouyi are both part of teams that will be fighting for a Europa Cup spot.

Dong has done very well in pre-season friendlies for FK Sloboda Sevojno.

Half ethic Chinese, but would he qualify for citizenship? I believe China does not allow dual citizenship, and it's doubtful he'll give up his British one.

    putting on a scale
he would be eligible for england national team (high chance), greek national team through his father (moderate to high chance), and chinese citizenship (low chance).

we don't know how much he is attached to china, if he is an individual who really wants to represent china and he has technique, i think china would figure out a way to let him in (but for sure, as you said, he must abolish his british citizenship).

    RUMOUR

Jiang Dongnan, a 15 years old kid, is rumoured to be heading to AS Roma Youth for an one week trial. Jiang is 1.84m tall, plays as defensive midfielder, and currently under Xie Hui's tutelage.

Xie Hui's Weibo mocked that Jiang was oversaw by the Chinese coaches and he really recommend Jiang to try his chance in Italy.

    SHAO JIAYI CONTRACT

Energie Cottbus lately offered Shao Jiayi a two years contract, but Shao Jiayi rejected it. It is not sure why Shao rejected the contract and he is most likely leaving Energie Cottbus.

The contract states that Shao's wage would be the same as before. Shao's current wage is one of the highest in the club.

    Don't come China

He is still doing well so I don't know why he would reject, and Cottbus still has a chance of going up also. Weird.

xfactor mentioned that free streaming software, such as TVU, occasionally shows shanghai shenhua's matches.

i had seen sopcast occasionally showing CSL matches, and rojadirecta actually listed quite a few CSL matches link.

i think bigsoccer china would be booming a bit again when the CSL and Asian Champion Leagues open :)

SHAO JIAYI'S RESPONSE TO CONTRACT RENEWAL NEWS

Shao did an interview and said he did not decline the contract renewal and it was pure speculation.

He still wants to stay in Germany for a few more years and his goal is playing in the German Bundesliga 1.

    DONG FANGZHUO'S SEVOJNO DEAL BROKEDOWN

According to Sports163, Dong Fangzhuo's deal with Serbian club FK Sloboda Point Sevojno broke-down due to conflicts in personal interest.

It was rumoured that Sevojno was willing to offer a long-term deal for Dong Fangzhuo; however, Dong wants only a short-term deal so he could regain his form and play in top European league again.

Because Dong still has a contract with Portimonense in Portugal, he flew back to honour the contract (half year left). Dong is no longer a first team member in the Portuguese club; even the coach mentioned the Chinese striker is no longer part of the club's plan anymore. It would be interesting to see how Dong will live the second half of the season.

Again, this news might be speculation, I checked Sevojno's website and there was no news about Dong. He doesn't have a photo on the first term website too.
