12 min hat-trick from hasselbaink as he completes it with the best goal of the game.
Going right at goal again and puts the ball on his right boot for a curler into the top right hand corner of the gaol - simply no way the keeper was getting to that.

The Jimmy of old gets the match ball.

Handbags going on now as that wanker Ince gets into it with Babayaro and Duff.........comes to nothing.

Theres the final whistle 5-2 Chels :)

2nd year in a row we took 18 of 18 points from that season's promoted sides. Seems easy but really isn't.

    Chelsea 2 - Leicester 1
    Wolves 0 - Chelsea 5
    Chelsea 3 - Portsmouth 0
    Leicester 0 - Chelsea 4
    Portsmouth 0 - Chelsea 2
    Chelsea 5 - Wolves 2

21 for and 3 against, not too bad.

Thats what we have to do to those teams - and i mean that with no disrespect to some of the very good players that are on those teams.
Man U have been winning titles for the past 11 years by simply pasting the teams below then and getting results off and on against their biggest rivals.

Really impressed with Duff and lampard today, they both dug in deep when we went a goal down. For a brief second there i though i saw heads droop, but, the response was fantastic.Damian Duff was MOTM for me, despite the hat-trick from Hasselbaink.Terry must be gutted fron his mistake, but, over the course of a season these things will happen to everyone and it's only because points are so few and precious from here on in that it will get major ink in the rags tomorow.Top man, he'll be okay.

Geremi was a little better than pathetic, if that, for the entire game. Our right side didn't look all that strong at all to tell the truth and it was a worry every time they came forward.Makelele continues to drift in and out of games in a major way - perhaps all the rumours about being unhappy and unsettled are true?

Great team spirit though despite a few dodgy performances and moments.

Did i mention that Duff was the difference ;)

No, went off after the handshakes on the pitch, at least thats what i think as i nipped over to the 'puter in the other room.

It's tough to keep the missus and kids off the 'puter and watch the telly all at once :D

Isn't this the perfect formula to solve our Arse woes?

If we can somehow get the Arse relegated, by the time they get promoted, we can sweep them...

And Jimmy rewards me for putting him on my Fantasy League (Yahoo) team on thursday!

    I'm a genius!

Great to see that the lads pulled their heads out and did the business.

According to reports that oaf Ince and Babayaro continued to have a go it seems - match report from the ref will now determine what, if any, action will be taken by the FA.
Given their, shall we say, lack of speed, i wouldn't be surprised if one, or both, have a season begining suspension of 1 game in August.

Worth noting also that the left back slot looked dodgy with the absence of Bridge, just shows how much that young lad has come on since the begining of the year.

Great finish for Chelsea. Missed the first 1/2 hour or so and was pretty down when we went down 2-1. My wife and I were hugging in the bar after Jimmy's 3rd goal. We were singing happy birthday. Maybe I should think twice about drinking in the morning.

Arse tied ManU as well 1-1 today so were only 7 out now. Hopefully Liverpool can pull of a win next week and we can put a little more pressure on....
