Woops. I was wrong. Arsenal were better than I expected. Especially Wilshere. Congrats.

Well done boys by far the best Champions League involving Arsenal that I have seen. They really showed up and came on strong in the second half with fading away. Wenger again shows his genius by replacing Song (who did well considering he was sitting on the YC from early in the match) for Arshavin and leaving all of the creativity up front. Arshavin's goal on the counterattack was nothing but class.

I'm not even an Arsenal fan but that 2nd half fightback had me buzzing...when Arshavin scored I jumped up and yelled. That was just a great spectacle to behold and why I love the game. Wilshere was amazing. He's 19 and went up against the best midfield in the world and came out on top. Congrats and good luck in the 2nd leg.

Unbelievable performance. What a difference having your top players makes. Let's hope we can take this confidence and build on it. One of my top Arsenal memories for sure. Could this be the season we peak at the right time? 2 PL games, one FA Cup Game, and the Carling Cup final to focus on before we head to Spain.

I'm so happy right now guys. I've been wearing the jersey for 2 days now and I kept going through multiple scenarios and we won every time. When they scored, for the first time in a long time when we play vs a good team I was still 120% convinced it wasn't over at all. We were very unlucky and should have buried our chances but I'm glad it turned out this way. We should our true heart, and strength. I screamed so hard on both goals, and spilled my beer! (partyfoul)...I'm just so happy, and I'm glad all of you are just as happy all over the world. We deserve this. Let's not give up on our team. We're the Arsenal. Victory comes from Harmony, lads. Let's get in it.

In truth it was the same last year at the Emirates.

They play a very aggressive style early on that simply isn't sustainable over 90 minutes unless they score early or wear the other team down even more than they have been.

ATVO's Dan Roebuck just owned Warren Barton.

Apparently Barton had the pundits believing that he was training to be an Architect, when in reality he was just the Mail Boy at the Architectural firm (Dan Roebuck's roommate worked at the said firm).

    HAHAHAHA! Warren Barton = Fail

I looooooooooooooooooved Arshavin's finish. One touch, snappy, not trying to score the perfect goal, not taking 3 touches and being surrounded by Barca's entire team. It ended up 2+ yards inside the far post. Valdes kinda maybe shoulda saved it. If he does, good for him. As it is, 2-1 to the Arsenal.

We out Barca-ed Barca, and did a Sam Allardyce on them to boot. The way to play technical teams is to bully them and rough them up, and I think we're more or less the perfect package now. We've proven over the past couple of months or so that we have the steel/mental strength to cope, and this even we mussled out the best team in the world, and snuffed the best player in the world out of the game.

I want SPURS in the next round!! I have a suspicion that should we win at the Nou Camp, and Spurs most likely may win at the Lane, it could happen. :D

Shakhtar Donetsk beat ROMA 3-2 in Rome. Guess it shows our group was not as weak as people thought!
