Fettig's Contribution to the Courage As much as the Courage was able to improve with the additions of Danielle Slaton, Birgit Prinz, and Unni Lehn, Nel Fettig was the final piece to the puzzle that made me feel like the Courage had a real chance to become one of the best teams in the WUSA. Without Fettig I think the Courage probably could still have made the playoffs, but with Nel they became a championship team.
