Looking back at this season of disappointment and underachievement. The biggest culprits are the midfield's lack of class and the lack of another dangerous and dependable striker.

Ococha and Koller will help improve the quality in these two areas of glaring needs.

Ococha is like Basturk of Bayer leverkusen (The dazzling dribbler who allow Ballack to roam upfield). In addition to ball control and playmaking, Ococha is also great at freekick, another weakness of the current team. To put icing on the cake, Ococha who currently plays for Bolton will cost quite little in terms of transfer fee.

Koller: Simply put he is one of the (if not the) best center forwards in the world right now. His height thus heading ability will cause just as much trouble for the best team as the worst team. His vision, work rate and speed will also help to form a great and unique partnership with Makaay, A combination unlike any other in europe today.
    Just imagine the possiblities!

Oh yeah, btw sell santa cruz, pizarro and Hargreaves Now, they are and never will be Bayern Players!

Just because Santa Cruz, Pizarro and Hargreaves haven't performed as well as they could have this season, doesn't mean they'll never be "Bayern players". Hargreaves will, inevitably move to England to play in the Premiership, as all English players usually do sometime during their careers. And without Santa Cruz and Pizarro, we'd only have one expierienced striker (Maakay). I do not think we should sell these players, unless we have quality replacements.

I agree, Okocha could be a good signing, but would he be able to settle in the Bundesliga. I think he would be able too. If he plays like he has been playing for Bolton for the past year or so, he would be an excellent signing. How much would he cost though? I vaugely remember Sam Allardyce (Bolton's manager) slapping a price tag of about 10-12 million pounds on him not so long ago.

Koller also has the potential to be a good signing, him and Maakay could form a great partnership. But will we have enough money to buy him and Okocha, and will Dortmund sell him? I doubt it.

Getting these players would probably improve the standard of our team, but after this season, a lot of things would. I doubt we'd be able to buy them both though. But in the world of soccer, you never know, do you? :)

What are the chances of getting both of those players? It'd be great, but it'll NEVER happen.

The problem with Okocha is that his off days can be a disaster to any team. As good a player as he is, he might find it difficult to adjust into a disciplined Bayern team. I see Kohler partnering well with Makaay up front. He can score as well as provide assists.
That said, the problem with Bayern is not really about getting new players. I think it's about getting a new coach. Players are going to start taking 15-20% paycuts just because the team is not winning well enough to reflect expectations. Hitzfeld has done a wonderful job for Bayern, but we need a replacement here. In addition to the dismal performance in the league, don't forget that Bayern struggled in every single match in the Champions league this season, even against the weakest team! In fact, Bayern should be the one playing Porto right now! This team compared to the team that used to demolish opponents 4-5 years ago is better, player for player, but since they are not performing well enough, the Chemistry needs to be changed. Here's where Hitzfeld gets a gold watch for a job well done and someone takes over!

Well, there has been links of Hitzfeld moving to Chelsea, but who would be his replacement? Trapattoni?

What about the possibility of Pavel Nedved leaving Juve? Would he be a fit for the Bayern system with the players they currently have?

I seriously doubt Nedved will leave Juve. He would be quite an asset, though.

Nedved could leave Juv, but I don't think Bayern can afford him. Juv might want to let him go to begin a new cycle, but Bayern already have a very expensive roaster and players are about to take paycuts. Maybe Schweisteiger (I hardly get that spelling right) should get more play time and be more creative in his role.

If Juve were to sell Nedved, and Ballack were to move to another club (Inter), like he has been linked to, we could see Nedved in a Bayern shirt next season.

    I still doubt it though.

bayern should get d'allessandro and koller. Imagine Mackay and Koller getting service from d'allessandro. D'allesandro is a real playmaker (Ballack isnt)

Or our long term target, Carlos Tevez.

I don't know if Bayern would want to get D'allessandro, maybe Koller. First of all, Ze Roberto already fills that void, and secondly because based on Bayern's track record, it doesn't seem like they want to get players who can hold the ball for too long. I think Koller would be a good pick, and maybe a central defender to replace Linke. Maybe if Bayern gets a good new coach, we could begin to see another side of these current players we haven't seen before.
