Not a dynamo fan but I am excited we finally have a soccer stadium being built in our city.

I noticed later last night that Capitol St is also closed through the site.

Looks like they are setting stuff up on Bastrop Street this morning.

I'm very concerned. I'm afraid the architects and engineers haven't fully incorporated the possibility of ice developing on the roads and grounds of Dynamo Stadium. Just imagine if there had been a game this morning. There would have been mass chaos on the streets in the area. I hope they go back to the drawing boards and create something more severe winter weather safe. Hopefully in 60-90 days we should see some results of the planning.

Imagine if one day we get ice on the roads, a twister, a hurricane and a terrorist attack minutes before a game.

Our stadium sucks, our FO sucks (being so unethical right now), our team sucks, and we the fans suck, Juve is so right on how much everything sucks, we should just ask the team to relocate to better and happier place. :D

Oooh. There's a tent up on Bastrop Street. I might have to turn the webcam even more to the south before tomorrow.

The drawings don't show any landscaping, but the plans we saw the other day showed lots of trees, bushes and vines. I'm sure the could squeeze in a few palms...

i know there was a brief access to the plan room at the construction company that has since been closed but did anybody get to download the full plans? all i saw was some layout for food vendors and a couple of very minimalist drawings. i'd have thought there was a large pdf with tons of blueprints and elevations and landscaping plans and site layouts. did anybody get those? i know the proposed SJ stadium and the Portland stadium had to submit such things to their local municipalities and the documents were online. anybody find that sort of thing with the new Dynamo Stadium.

the thing looks beautiful from the 3 new renderings but it just makes me want to see far more detail on the place is all ... so i just thought i'd ask.

It just feels odd to me to play the scrimmage at HBU then turn ground at the new complex cross town. We ought to have played the scrimmage on the new stadium dirt -- line the dirt in the French manner. :D

They'd better. If not, come summer of 2012 you may see one of the palms missing at Robertson.

    Anybody got Randy Lemmon's number?
