Granted his finishing left a lot to be desired (and I know a 9 is supposed to score goals) but I think some of the abuse being heaped on Benzema is a bit unfair.
That settles that for the next few months. Now to focus on CL and the league, and, coming up with a game plan for beating farca consistently.
Not the first time he's done it this season, cracks me up that does. He just vanishes, all you see are a couple of heads gazing into the tunnel. Fantastic goal by Ade, I really hope that he starts against Sociedad. I can defo see him grabbing a goal or two.
indeed. Ade makes a goal and now he is our hero, and during the whole game Benz was doing his part to run down defenders, hustle, and miss a few chances.

He got himself (Benzema) into some good positions today and looked lively. That last goal though was just no nonsense. Great touch and bang. Ronaldo was also sticking wide today which was good. If he does that, I see no reason why we can't play both the strikers.
Agreed, he did everything but score the goal. If Mourinho dares to give Ronnie a day off I'd like to see Benz in CR7's position.
Considering the amount of goals from Benzema, the abuse against him has been pretty low compared to the constant "Higuain is shit why is he therYES AMAZING GOAL"
Ronaldo is having some bad days in a row but don't say things like that dude. He is the one he has scored a bulk of goals this season .
Ronaldo needs to hit the bench. He's in poor form and one or two games off would do him good before the CL starts. I would like to see Ade-Benzema pairing.
Yeah but if you're missing the chances that he missed, it can have heartbreaking consequences. Let Ozil, Ronaldo, Di Maria do the majority of the link up, we need someone who will consistently put goals away, it's a simple must. That's why I would prefer Ade to start over him against Sociedad.
They went down without even a bullet fired, but then again we didn't look too good either. We need to keep possession more and score a goal to be able to revert to our favourite tactic of counters. I don't know why we are playing so many long balls, anyone have a theory?
