Kawashima has that "take a risk" kind of vibe. Which makes you worry sometimes. Nishikawa seems calm. That's why I didn't really mind if Zac really wanted to replace Kawashima with him in the earlier stages.
But Kawashima did well today. He's spoken that he's capable. Also, he's entertaining. xD

Yeah, entertaining can be really good, or really bad... as we see with Kawaguchi.

Bingo. Not to the same level of greatness, but it's a kind of Casillas vs Buffon thing. You'll never see Buffon do some of the insane shit that Casillas pulls, good and bad.

Well it takes time and experience right? How many years has he been 2nd or 3rd choice (club and national teams)... Kawaguchi and Narazaki have been with the NT for years... So, I find it a bit harsh to judge Kawashima and the others.

Kawashima reminds me of Oli Kahn, maybe it's his aggressiveness...

Other than that OT: Australia are going to face a Gk problem in the future. They heavily rely on Mark Schwarzer too much.

One of the guys doing the commentary is Nanami (Asia Cup 2000 MVP, and my favorite player ever).

Matsuki should also win the MVP.

    "PK!? PK!?? PK!?? NO?????"
"No it's not in!. Definitely, it's not in!!! No goal, no goal, no goal" (repeating forevrer..) AHHHHHH.... OHHHH. No it's not in at all. No, no, no.."
    "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOIII!!!"

It's not in the video but I also liked what he was saying before the match
"It's gonna be young Japan against experienced but aged Australia. Well, younger power will win for sure!"

You can read the whole story here.

I also liked in this game even Sergio was getting emotional.

Lol Lee dodged Honda during that celebration. Made him fall straight to the ground. Lee was wide open. No defender in like 3 meter distance. Bad man marking by Aussies but goal was well taken by lee.

Matsuki is the former Tokyo Verdy manager who is now the co-commentator for tele asa... except he is more like our cheerleader more than anything else. He makes everything so exciting.

From Matsu's article: "Tim Cahill is the most infuriating, contemptable, diving, shamming, hand-balling, kneecapping, eye-scratching, grass-rolling, whining, cheating son of a she-devil in all of Asia. DAMN, I wish Japan had a striker like that!"
Yes please!! I am dying to see a player play for us that will do anything to win.

Yeah Matsuki rocks, and I agree that Japan needs a player like Cahill.
