    FFFFUUUUUUUUUUU

I hope he'll do well enough to help us win titles. No further than 6 months though.

    I like the nickname.

plus If things don't go as planned, there will be some fun scarface themed photoshops.

I don't like the guy, and don't rate him particularly highly, but it's probably the best we could do for 6 months on the cheap. He is unlikely to have the same injury problems we may have seen with Ruud, and this could be his chance to prove himself at the very top. Lets see if he takes it, because I imagine he will see a very large number of minutes.

so we have an aerial threat now and a PK taker.

I don't think we need to worry about him being a penalty taker. He won't get near unless the unlikely event of a penalty shoot-out crops up.

Ade is the complete opposite of Benzema. He is outgoing, great goalscorer, and selfish as ****. Decent pickup though, hopefully this turns out well.

Ade's got an hungar to score, much like ronnie.

I was hoping we would of got Ruud. He could of helped/tutored Benz some tips and made him more of a striker than he already is.

Wow, it took 3 pages for you to be a jerk. I'm impressed mymy.

Consider the SLIGHT possibility that halamadrid's post wasn't only for you to read. Thank you.

As far as the signing, I hope he fills the void. I'm not in love with Ade, but maybe he can change that.

I think this is a good move. He didn't cost us anything so its definitely worth a shot

Good player but he can be locker room poison. I'm not sure I want to see him around longer than strictly necessary.

maybe this was more a shot taken at Guillem than it was at the poster... (as in that report was already in spanish press)
then again mymy is quite capable of fighting her own battles.. good luck

I got home from classes all day to find this out. Is this a good idea?
I honestly don't really know anything about Adebayor besides he once played in Arsenal and Man City so... any experts on how he will fit in?

Well.... he ain't no Ruud but i guess we had to make the best of a bad situation and all things considered i think we did well to get him here. His skill set is what Jose likes in his strikers. I hope that now Jose can stop crying and get on with it.

The buyout at the end of the year is very reasonable but that is off set by the fact that we are paying all his wages. But all in all its not a bad deal.

I hope he plays like he's got something to prove. It will be a little difficult to see him wearing our beautiful white shirt for the first time. Never liked his personality but i am gonna go the nate route and support him now that he is here.

I'm actually excited now and wondering how he'll fit in. He's played under Wenger so he should be able to acclimate to our way of playing quicker as well.

Hope he gives us the option we've been looking for.

Everybody has similiar opinions about him. he is good for 6 months only. I hope he wil conbtribute and at least push Benzema to live up to his price tag. He is actually better than Klose who did not play much last season and this season in Germany. Klose only shined well in the WC Finals. RVN.... that's too bad, but Adebayor is younger and RVN is not the same player three seasons ago.

I never really liked Adebayor, even at his time at Arsenal when he was quite awesome

but at a time like this, i cant complaint, with Adebayor, i hope we have a bigger chance in scoring more on each game as well as winning

it's sad that we cant rely on Benzema,

but yeah, Since Ade's a Blanco now, Welcome to Madrid

i hope you do your best, and hopefully leave with a Title
