I heard he went to the USMNT. Most of the better players from last years U14 USYSA National Championship team went to various clubs in the area. The players that went to CFJ were marginal players at best. Then again, I heard this from a guy standing on a street corner drinking malt liquor from a brown bag and after he gave me that information he also spit this bit of knowledge on me, "Little people talk about people. Medium size people talk about things. And big people talk about ideals and principles"

    YOU ARE WRONG MY FRIEND!

Okay, i have been waiting all day since reading this topic to get my screen name activated and now it is!~ I am Haydens father (Josh Ates) and as mentioned he was set to play with the Eclipse last year at two different tournaments that were rained out, so after joining Fire he was honored to play with them Disney.I want to say LOUDLY that I am in no way or form staneleyryan and hope that everyone believes me about this. My son Hayden really enjoyed himself while guest playing/staying with this team and I have better since to get online a call out kids in a public forum especially by name. I have tried very hard to get my son that loves the game chances like this and would never screw this up by posting negative comments about the team that asked him to play. The thought of me doing this is insane as he is/was hoping to play for this team at Dallas Cup. I will say that I am very sorry for the comments by this parent that was formely on our team but want to ASSURE all that I had NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS TOPIC NOR NEGATIVE COMMENTS about any player form this team.

Thanks for clarifying, obviously whoever this stanleyCOWARD guy is just seemed to know a awful lot about Hayden and everything else down there. I apologize for jumping to conclusions.
I hardly ever comment on this board and only look at it occasionaly but when I heard that some father was calling out 14 year olds BY NAME I wanted to have my say.
Good luck to Hayden the rest of the year.

i assure you that when I saw this post I went into high panic mode for that reason , everyone would think it was me. I have talked to a parent and intend on calling the manager today just to make sure all is clear. I really hope this doesn't taint Haydens chances to continue to guest play with "YALLS" team and same to you on a good season!

Yea great idea guy, lets go on a message board where grown men can insult a 14 year old kid, whether it is by name or not. Real mature a 40 year old soccer dork talking sh1$ while sitting in his underwear on his computer. Ive read a ton of your posts and you are quite a tool, and I actually did my research this time.

I have you all figured out YONKO, your the guy who gets up every Sat/Sunday mourning at 6, throws on your Man Utd shorts, Barca top and your German Natl team hat. You run downstairs and sit in front of your TV with your Beckham autobiography and "How to play the Dutch 4-3-3 system" book on your coffee table.

Then you settle in for some "footie" and IM sure you call it that.

The highlight of your day is Super Sunday PLus when you get to listen to Christian Miles, Warren Barton, Keith Costagin, and Kyle Marino say absolutley nothing but you hang on their every word and then try to apply it to youth soccer. Then you come on message boards and talk about "the beautiful game" (im sure you say that too).

So keep posting youth soccer gossip on here YONKO and don't forget to renew your World Football Daily podcast either, IM sure you listen to those tools too.

I see that you are quite good at judging others by your own habits and media addictions. Your sensitivity is also touching, but your knowledge and research work are subpar to say the least. Attempting to attack me and insult me don't make you any better once again.

These forums are open to all opinions, negative or positive. Yes, I think kids' names should be spared and remain unidentified, by coming up with creative and discrete ways to express one's own opinion. The concern shouldn't be about the opinion itself, but about the way it is expressed, i.e identifying kids by names.

If my view on the issue makes me a "tool", then so be it. You are entitled to your opinion, which wont make me slash my wrists btw. But if it makes you feel better, or if you have any self issues you want to compensate for, then keep researching me and analyze my posts all you want.

FYI, you forgot to mention FIFA 11. I'm getting quite good at it already! :D

Players that live in other states, lots of guest players, and a coach with M.M. initials. That sounds Magical :D:D:D

I have heard of a distubance in the force. Better players have been brought to the Acd. Leaving this team a shell of what it was suppose to
be. Could be they are goingto play the 6 games and then go back to the
    regular team.

Darth Vadar can always feel a disturbance in the force, can't he? I can tell you that your information is inaccurate and you should get a different source. You should never yell Fire in a crowded theater, you might get hurt.

LOL! That was a funny response, be_cool.

So what is the truth then? It seems like your kid plays on that team am I right? How different is that group now compare to the one last year at Eclipse?

KY, YES. MS Fire, FL Fire, LA Fire, all possible. Even Earth, Wind and Fire are possible. Gosh, I love those guys:

    "Do you remember the
    21st night of September?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
    While chasing the clouds away"

    everyone sing with me now

    "Ba de ya
    say do you remember
    Ba de ya
    dancing in September
    Ba de ya
    never was a cloudy day"

Sorry about that, September is in the Fall and you asked about the Spring. I could give you Reasons why everything is going to be just fine with this team, but some would say that it's just a Fantasy. I say, the team has a lot of Shining Stars left to make a State and Regional run. It is unfortunate that adults on this board like to try and speculate on the ins and outs of 14-15 yr old boys, but I guess That's The Way Of The World. We all should really take a look in the mirror and let these boys and their parents enjoy this time in their lives. Cause After The Love Has Gone and their soccer career is over, I would hope they will have more going on in their lives than those of you on this board that choose to be purveyors of rumors in youth soccer.

You know what? Last year on these boards I told many people, specifically one parent of these boys, that the team was going from Eclipse to the Fire. He didn't believe me and attacked me, accusing me of false gossips. I guess it turned out my gossip was correct.

My life doesn't revolve around youth soccer gossips, contrary to many people's opinion. I just get a kick out of seeing overexcited parents overreacting about every single comment, whenever I get tired and bored from Reality TV. :D At the end of the day, we all know how quickly word spreads around and where all this "theater" leads to, don't we?

So chill out and enjoy Earth, Wind and Fire.

Come on. Dont try to make like you are above all of this. You read and post too and are on this forum for the same reasons to provide opinions and get info. you just dont like the suggestion that your sons team might be breaking up which is the word going around. if it is not true just say so and dont act like we have less than you going on in our lives because we are wondering. Be flattered. The only time things get out of line here is when people start getting too annoyed with Yonko who lets face it knows a lot and keeps things pretty entertaining. Or when as said (I think by you too) in earlier posts that youths are criticized by name (haven't heard from stanleyryan in a while thank goodness). I hate that even more than Earth Wind and Fire.

Ok then. That should end all of the speculation here and close this thread until Spring or so when this team will be competing again, I am sure very effectively.

I'm sure you are right, it won't end until Spring. I have the feeling that no matter what I said, there would be speculation and it would be picked apart for some deeper meaning and hidden messages.

    Let the conjecture begin!

I like this response a lot. People like to act as saints sometimes, but they are guilty of the same things they accuse others of. It's nice to have someone like you to keep it real with posts like this. And thank you for the personal compliment.

Make sure nothing comes out of your own camp though. That's how usually things start - an insider will let the cat out of the bag.

I totally agree. Sometimes insiders twist things towards their own agenda as well.

    Yes, they do indeed.

Looking back at some old communication exchanges, it was you I talked to last year around end of April-early May about that group moving from Eclipse to the Fire. Do you remember that?;)
