Isn't it? Finally Ape sees what we Freedom fans have seen since Mia put her tiny little feet on the same grass as Abby's not so tiny feet. Together they're unstoppable. 2 shots in the first half with Mia and CP up top. 11 shots in the second half with Mia and Abby up top. No goals allowed this year when Mia or Abby is on the field. Coinkidink??? I think not...
its been in the 50's here...but it won't quit raining so all of our softball games keep getting rained out
I think you guys will get a kick out of this article: QUARTEIRA, Portugal - Angela Hucles scored her third goal in two games, leading the United States over Denmark 1-0 Tuesday in the Algarve Cup. Hucles scored from inside the Danish penalty area in the 60th minute after a solo run by Abby Wambach. "In the second half, we were able to settle the ball down a bit more," said Hucles. "The ball was just bouncing around in the first half, and in the second half we were able to get better possession and play to our feet." U.S. coach April Heinrichs made several changes to the lineup that beat France 5-1 in Sunday's opener, but the Americans didn't take control until Wambach and JULIE FOUDY (ha, ha!) went in as second-half substitutes. "When you are the USA there are expectations, there's pressure to win and there's criticism if you don't," said Heinrichs. "But as the head coach of this team, I have to make the decision to give young players and opportunity to play. They need to be confident, and the only way for them to have confidence is to go out and play Denmark and find ways to beat the good teams from around the world." The Americans play 2003 World Cup finalist Sweden on Thursday for a place in the final. In other games, Norway beat Italy 3-0, France defeated Sweden 3-0 and China beat Finland 4-0 I couldn't stop laughing and thinking about that moron Thomas Flannigan when I read the part about the subs. Hey knucklehead, that should be MIA HAMM. Geeze! Perhaps you should learn something about soccer and it's players before reporting on it maybe?? He obviously lifted the quotes from a news wire or something, but failed to read the quotes from Ape about Abby and MIA. duh. I should post that somewhere Flannagan is likely to read it, just to piss him off. LOL!
*looks at clock* Hey, it's Mia's birthday where she is! Quick, I need some good dance songs! *goes back to singing* Shorty crunk, on the flo' wide open
*is now typing up the stupid essay* I wanna go to bed. I'm so sleepy. *shines mini maglight into eyes* And I still have to take a shower and dry my hair. *goes back to typing* And you know what, I don't effing care if it's not 3 pages...
I am. And I'm such a cheater too because I even spaced the header and the title of it way more than I was supposed to. But ya know what, I don't care. lmao What you learned in college: How to bullsh!t papers.
and a one and a two and a three and a.... Connecticut and Duke will be national champions come April. But which ones? Texas shouldn't be a #1 women's seed; Penn State should be. Although if that had happened Penn would probably be in Austin instead of Bridgeport. Penn State won't beat UConn b/c that game is in Hartford and you know hell hath no fury like Geno Auriemma scorned with a home loss to BC. Mazzante might drop 30 but I don't think it'll matter in the end. To the men: Florida stinks this year in my opinion and may well get upset by Manhattan. Even though that's the "popular" upset, particularly since it's a 5-12, Luis Flores is for real and the Jaspers are real fast. St. Joe's will make the Elite Eight but get knocked off by the winner of Pitt-Oklahoma State. And despite what I said earlier, I am starting to think that Carolina will stun Duke in the South regional, because no team that has made the Tournament this year and played Duke three times has been swept, i.e. Georgia Tech and Maryland. Western Michigan over Vanderbilt, Xavier over Louisville AND Missisippi State, which should have been switched with Pitt in the bracket. Gonzaga's coming out of the Midwest. Sorry if you're a Kentucky fan... but I'll make nice with the Washington folks here and say they'll upset Kentucky in the second round. Maryland over Syracuse in the second round's best game, but the Cardinal will prove too much. Stanford could make the championship game if Okafor isn't at full health. Princeton has been handed a trip to Judson Wallace's hometown (Atlanta) on a silver platter. If they beat Texas-- and they only lost to the Longhorns by one point in Austin last season, when UT was better and Princeton was worse-- they will either face North Carolina, in a rematch of the 1996 second round (which followed Princeton's vomit-inducing upset of UCLA-- SIT DOWN YODA!) or an even more disgusting clash with Air Force, coached by former Tigers assistant Joe Scott. Princeton offense vs. Princeton offense. Ugh. And by the way, Duke, UConn, and Princeton all tip off at the same time. What happened to WCBS' market clout? It is conceivable that the northern half of New Jersey could miss out on the Princeton game entirely. So there.
The lost class After all the years of hard work they put in, Gio, Giuli, and Andrea deserved to be the seniors of a team that had Burt and O'Neill starting in the backcourt and Keeler and Brock coming off the bench to post up...the team that Mike Daugherty was talking about. Wow. I had no idea. You know, this situation would probably suck even more if she didn't really have Long-QT syndrome...not that she'll ever know for sure. I can't believe she's lost her promising basketball career and she might not even be sick. She's not as lucky as I thought...though she's still lucky to be alive.
March 16, technically yesterday, was the 1-year anniversary of the murder of Rachel Corrie, a young woman from my hometown. She was crushed by a bulldozer while nonviolently protesting the demolition of people's homes in the Middle East. She was 23-years-old. Even though she was just a couple of years older than me, I never knew her because we went to different high schools. I am not exactly up to date with the happenings in the Middle East, but allegedly the demolition of those homes is illegal. Additionally, I believe the driver of the bulldozer knew she was there when he ran her over--A photostory--and I am angered that up to now there has been no investigation into it. :|
Lmao whatever. :| Why can't i put prem. members on my ignore list?! Alison Kraus plays here in may. I LOVE her music. Yall think i should go? Later.
I missed a photo from the game yesterday: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/040316/483/xaf10803162013 I think that's Leone next to Ape. She's kinda scary.
Hey Pauko...guess what former Chode moved from Philly to Miami on her break between Costa Rica and Portugal......
