Merry Christmas Claret. Have a good one and think of us all suffering in the blistering, snowy, Blighty weather. :)

Merry Christmas to You all also from up here - also quite snowy Finland that is. In my backyard already snowdrifts up to my shoulders after dropping most of the snow from the roof - twice. And myself, twice. And it´s only December.

Anyways, city keeps a couple of local gravel football grounds open throughout the winter and they´re quite playable ..ishh. So, it´s football, nevertheless!

(think I boasted in the old forum years ago we do play outdoors here throughout the year. Minus 28 been the coldest and plus 33 the warmest. The light of my life tells me there´s not much left of a man she once married and I have to agree, although playing in snow is nothing compared to swampfootball. THAT is sick!)

May Your next Year be even a more prosperous one. Peace.

I shan't complain about the weather here in the American South anymore.

Merry Christmas to all ... the wife and I will be heading to the Outer Banks of North Carolina for a nice, blustery, wet, windy Christmas.

Happy Christmas one and all including the mug Suomi (is that how you spell it.
With luck(!!) I shall be arriving at Heathrow Thursday morning and then driving to County Durham for Christmas Eve.
Sounds like a suicide mission at the moment.

It´s accurate, thanks mate. These national names are btw funny: Polska (which is a dance in Finnish), Helvetia (Hell in Finnish), Sverige, Norge etc.

Actually the most hilarious for Finns are the country names in Estonian - the languages are that alike. E.g. Russia in Estonia is Venemaa, which means in Finnish "Boatland", France is Prantsusmaa, "White Bread Land" etc. I assume in general the Estonian effect for Finns is pretty much the same when You´re looking at Newcastlean accent written down.

My definite Christmas song to You guys: Happy Xmas (War is over)

Happy Holidays... Ive heard is the new line for this special time of year. Here's to hoping that we can rise from the ashes in the second half and stay in the premier league, for at least one more year. I also need us to beat Wolves on New Years and to finish above them in the table at the end of the season because of a bet/deal with my uncle.

For Christmas I would like The Hammer, The Nobleman, and a surprise mystery striker to combine and pull a Tevez as a collaborate savior.

    Happy Christmas to all .

I'm off to Japan if I can get a flight, then back for the FA Cup game against Barnsley.

Just hope we can get a good result at Fulham we need 3 points.

Merry Christmas to everyone. Lovely sunny day here in Norway, but minus 18c so you could say there's a nip in the air. Let's hope it's a good 2011. COYI
