Finally some good news for Israeli football. Let's hope he does well there. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=852992&sec=england&cc=5901
Great news . . . James Milner can't get a game for City! What's Assulin going to do besides play in reserve matches (if he can make the reserves)? If he wants to go to England, why not sign with a team like West Ham or Aston Villa or Fulham who might actually let you get on the field? Not much of an endorsement that none of the Spanish teams wanted him on a free transfer. Frankly this is a baffling signing from every angle I can see . . .
I am dumbfounded by this move. What does he expect to get out of this? He couldn't crack the first team at FCB, why didn't he go to Spurs or another place that gives youngsters playing time.
Gai was a part of City's training yesterday, pictured here with Tevez. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tara-brothers-Camp-Nou.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
Good article that sums up the thoughts on here. Young kids want the biggest and best, and often can't see the benefits of sacrifice. Let's hope he makes it. http://www.jpost.com/Sports/Article.aspx?id=199487
Assulin made his debut for the City reserve team (EDS) a few nights ago against Newcastle. His team won 5-1, he was brought on after 76 minutes and won a penalty. Here is an interview with Gai.
