I was taught in juniors, low and hard into a corner and the keeper will have to be super human to save it. Has me stuffed how come so many players especially ones at the level Drogs bollocks is can miss penalties.

Right, that is the hardest part of taking a penalty. Really easy to do when you are on the training ground, quite difficult in front of tens of thousands of people or more. But yes, proper penalties are either low or up high. Middle height is the most dangerous route to take. If you do hit it middle high, it needs to be hard and in the corner. You can get away with poor placement with a high penalty or one on the ground. Not keeper can stop a hard hit penalty in the upper part of the goal. Very few can stop a hard hit shot on the ground- very difficult to get down in time.

How about that goal from Stuart Holden , chested down left footed volley from just outside the box to beat the keeper at his near post! Bolton are currently in 5th and Stuey is one of the biggest reason's why.
