They making it sound as tho MLS is the end for an aging star that faded 5 years ago. MLS never been lucky with Brazilians stars anyway, he's going to be a big bust.

He's a headline grabber and a seat filler. Anybody expects Ronaldihno to come to MLS and play to his full potential is fooling themselves. LA will be a party for him.

I particularly got a kick out of the final sentence from this article:

"Which makes me wonder: Has the world's biggest and most popular sport really been reduced to alcohol, womanising and homosexuality?"

The author, Tariq A. Al Maeena, thinks giving women equal standing under the law is "womanising". That really does say it all. If the author cannot understand the difference between equal rights for women and "womanising", I hold no hope for him understanding equal rights for the lgbt community.

Qatar, sure to be a celebratory World Cup in 2022

Do you even know what the definition of womanizing is? I believe he's referring to prostitution.
Edit: Not just prostitution but allowing women to bear skin and hair and ogle them, essentially.

Tell that shmuck of a writter why the Asian Football Confederation moved their Asian Cup Tournament to January instead of June or July in 2011, Because of the over 110F temps.

Create a fricken dome like the U of Arizona Stadium and slide in the playing surface, then I will say they deserved the World Cup.

Gee, think there's some other agenda in play there than just a gratuitous swipe at Leiweke's character....?

The University of Arizona's stadium is neither domed nor does it have a playing surface that slides in. It's never good to illustrate an argument by reference to something about which you are ignorant.

Agree, in order to bring dihno GALAXY will let go some average players
to meet the fake salary cap and will line 3 overpaid players and 8 suckie
players ( based on salaries ) this is only a marketing move and the fans will pay overpriced tickets for the same bad quality team.
