woah woah hold on, I have the utmost respect to your team. I never once tried to diss your team. My comments on the bribing are just inside jokes my fellow spurs fan would get. I also wanted to with your team all best because even for a smaller club you guys got some talent and hey you could beat a pool or even Citeh. As for what I said, I was commenting on the guy earlier because I just didn't understand his argument. Anyway, I've said peace. Again best of luck to Twente in Europa.

btw the only I'd act like 6 year old on is ARSE because those punks post some lame bs all the time.

congrats on the result, and top of the group!
good thing is that any of this bunch can be beaten and that's the most important.
    Bring on Roma.

    COYS!

Spurs qualified for the CL without VdV. Also, he's only played in 3 of Totteham's CL games, not playing the full 90 in any of them. In total he's played 155 minutes from a possible 720minutes.

Vs. Bremen 2-2. All goals scored while VdV was on the pitch (subbed on 49minutes).

Vs FC Twente 4-1. 2-1 to Spurs while VdV was on the pitch. He was sent off on '61 minutes. Spurs scored 2 more.

Vs Inter 3-1. 1-0 to Spurs while VdV was on the pitch. Subbed at HT. Final score 3-1.

I'm going to let this one slide on account that English isn't your first language and that the notion of sarcasm may be lost sometimes on the great and generous Croatian people.

    No.

But it really isn't difficult to understand. Because of the size of your club, you may be the only Twente fan some of us ever have contact with, so you are representing them here, on another club's forum. If you act like an ass, what do you expect? And a prime example of acting like an ass is judging someone's worth as a fan, just based on their location.

We top the group which is fantastic, though were lucky with Inter losing 3-0 at Bremen. I believe we are the first team to score 2 or more goals in each champions league group stage game and top the group with letting in 11 goals according to the bbc. Interesting stats. Bring on the round of 16. Defoe getting a brace will surely help him build up confidence.

    :)

So bad I couldn't even cheer. I mean, I felt terrible for that keeper. Happy for Spurs, but not cheering. I don't even think the team celebrated (classy move, if I have that right). At the half Gomes gave him a consoling pat on the shoulder.

It has to be tough for a 41 year old veteran to screw up that badly. I really did feel bad for him.

I go out for the night and all the fun happens...

Now even the opposition is making jokes about budgets. Lovely.

No one here cares about Twente. For all I care, they can win the Europa. Good luck to them.

And thanking his luck it was not him who'd made of fool of himself. God knows he tried.

but munich and schalke cannot draw each other, either, so that brings it back to straight 1-in-4 odds for each, no?

Yeah, he's actually 40, but he's been with the club for every year (except one) from 1989. He's made 543 appearances with the club prior to last night and when he finally gets his Champions League debut, he makes a mistake in the opening 15 minutes of the game. But good on him to stay mentally strong, hang in there and made some good saves down the stretch to preserve a draw.

So, are you required to be a twunt to play for Twente? Sure seems that way. Pity the smaller club didn't have enough money to give the referee a large enough bribe...

I forgot to mention this with all the trolls, but I have never seen a ref so transparently influenced by a crowd. The sequence at the end when he belatedly stopped play after the De Jong dive was just shocking. Hope UEFA never let him near one of our games again.

Frankly I didn't think about that. Somehow I feel that Roma is easier to get over team compared with most of the others...

    Anyway, we'll see soon.

COYS! AND f#@&ck chelskum on sunday!
