True, but you almost wonder if a new ownership comes in, will they want to go with McCoist or their own person. As far as M. edu, Bradley, or Holden go, I just want a destroyed dm who can replace song when he needs a rest or in case Song has to slide into the CD position.
he has been a part of the problem in the past. luckily arsene figured that out and doesnt play him anymore.
some moron on here said denilson was to be a 20M quid player on the market. but your right, it is laughable.
He was also part of the 6-1 drubbing at Everton, and the generally impressive results the first half of last season. I think the issue with him's been his back injury - he hasn't been the same player since. Even so, he's a very good holding midfielder. Think Michael Carrick but a better tackler. Look at how much better we played against Barca at the Emirates once he came on.
denilson is a very good player if we need some kind of defence in midfield a more retarded view was that cesc nasri and song can play in the middle do u people not understand u need balance? when song runs off like a headless chicken u need someone to mop up his shit (he has a bad stomache this season!) denilson sits, intercepts and RETAINS POSSESSION not every pass has to be forward, jesus christ
are you telling me what kind of player denilson is? cuz ive seen every match he has ever played (for arsenal).
I haven't missed many games the last three seasons mate - the only exceptions were when I was out of country. And since you don't seem to be able to understand what Denilson's role and Denilson's game is despite seeing every game he's played for the club, I thought I might speed things along here.
Have you seen him play this year? Holden's form is very good atm, Denilson's ... not so much. @ Daprince, when did I say that you had a bias cause he was Brazilian? That comment was directed at thebigman chief. If Denilson's technique is better, its not by much. TBF , Denilson is the bigger goal threat.
it doesnt take a genius to know he isnt good enough. once again, he isnt significant enough to even talk about, as he doesnt play much for the club. he is a squaddie.
Indeed, sometimes he passes back. Sure, in literal terms, he does pass forward sometimes. It just isn't a strength of his.
I think that if you are going to sacrifice a spot on the team for that sort of role, which is pretty minimalist, then that player needs to be able to spring attacks with accurate and creative forward passes.
His job offensively is to keep plays/possession alive. He's a constant outletfor out players and helps switch play. He doesn't need to be overly creative nor does he need to be playing forward all the time. It just seems that some have a hard time understanding his role. I, for one, don't like the holding role at all. But I at least get it.
I'm trying to figure it out tho He does get the ball forward and has done the NHL assist thing, he also had a seaon where he ended up with 7 or 8 assists And this while it not being his job, so why should he have to be more attacking? People want a holding player to be more attacking in his passing, yet when Song gets attacking in his passing he is grilled and slammed... At the end of the day, I really don't get why people are so quick to write off players (and I say this including myself) who are still finding their way... A few months ago, Djourou was can't do right, now people want him starting... Same thing happened to Bendtner in the past before he scored vital goals for us in the spring In fact, I just don't get the need to shit, not criticize, on players for Arsenal... And some refusing to acknowledge a player doing well just because they want to hold that claim... People complain about negativity on this board, and I don't see it myself, except for when their is the need to criticize a player for just being at the club, and in many cases, not support that player
