Tomkins played Bent out of the game. Great effort.

What a load of crap: Don´t get the ref, don´t get Boa Morte´s card, don´t get Cole´s card, don´t get Parker´s card, don´t get our first half, don´t get our second half after the changes, don´t get Tomka and Gabs when Sunderland scored, don´t get Dyer in general, don´t get Obinna on the second half, don´t get our midfield´s first half drawing back, don´t get Gabs in general, don´t get Grant changing Ben Haim into The King of Technique, don´t get Green just standing there in the end on our free kick when should´ve run to the opposite end!

DON´T GET WHAT HAPPENED AFTER TUESDAY!!! DON´T GET THE POINT US REACHING WEMBLEY IF WE LOSE TO THESE SUNDERLANDS!!!

    JUST - DON´T - GET - ANYTHING!!!

We really need to sell Cole the guy is so slow and lazy. Liverpool were after him a while back I can't see them wanting him now...useless:mad:

What a disappointing performance; we all expected more, I know, but this was really poor.
I thought the main culprit (among several) was Obinna; his passing and crossing was terrible, compared to last Tuesday. He takes lousy corners, too, and this has been a pattern for weeks.
I assume Jacobsen is injured, because he brings a lot more to the team, not just defence. Spector tried hard, and held his own,and Dyer can be dangerous still. But Cole was mediocre, and the starter has to be Piquionne next time.
We just don't have the necessary punch up front, except now and then, and that obviously won't bring enough wins. I'm not confident about the future!

i had my own game so i had to dvr.... really wish i would have just looked at the score instead of wasting my time watching the game, that was pathetic

it was like liverpool 2.0 with a little more pressure. you would have never thought that we had just one two games, one of which being a thrashing of ManU.

i thought spector played very well considering the whole team was poor. not a fan of ben haim. tomkins had a good game, i blame ben haim for the goal because he was in fact the last defender and he was keeping two sunderland players onside; tomkins step up should have been a good play. i think the only reason cole plays is so that we can find a suitor for him, but hes not helping us in anyway. overall that was such an awful game to watch, did their goalie have to make one decent save? the closest hit the post.

It wasn't quite that bad. We defended pretty well most of the time. Their goal was a brilliant goal, a very good passing move. We played well, defensively, as a team but didn't have anything in attack. Sunderland are a decent team and are unbeaten at home but we should have given them more to do defensivly. Alot of the players have been disapointing and we need a decent run winning games. We had momentum so it's a shame we didn't get a point but the overall performance wasn't horrific. Sunderland are a decent team so you got to give them credit. And despite how much possesion they had it was kind of close. They had alot of long range chances but we didn't really give anything back to them.

For me it lacked the fight that we had against Man U, in attack. Players at times seem to feel sorry for themselves, which in our position is the opposite of what you need. They just need to pull together. They can play much better then they are at the moment. Managers sometimes don't like to change the squad too much because of stability, morale etc etc but i think it might be what we need. Players like Cole though can do much much better and is worth keeping. His touch against Sunderland was poor and he lacked pace but he needs help for the midfield and the other striker. When on form he is very good. When the team plays well he'll do well.
