Cup matches such as the CL, UL and league cups are apart of club football. If you are going to compare then you do with all the facts, and not selectively selecting the ones that back up your claim.

Well there is a argument to be made when 80% of the goals were scored in 7% of the matches.

I don't include cups. Deal with it. Doesn't really matter though as Krasics stats are better either way.

I'm pretty confident that Twente wins this one with Nacer Chadli. Four months ago an unknown, bought for 500,000 Euros from Dutch second division side AGOVV, now outstanding in the Dutch league and (up to a point) in the CL, with Belgium and Morocco fighting over getting him into their respective national team.

New biggest transfer will be Luka Modric from Tottenham Hotspur > FC Barcelona. And also Gareth Bale

Not only that...he has been half of the reason why they've had any success at all this year...the other being Gareth Bale of course.

Kranjcar reallz sucks i Tottenham, he gave in one season goals just like VD Vaart gave in 10 days.
VD Vaart is confirmed quality, Ajax Amsterdam school, he only made bad transfer at HSV, and he lost there his enthusiasm, Real Madrid also has bad environment outside the court.
I think he always wanted to play in ENG.

Oh great another expensive benchwarmer at Barcelona, that sounds like a brilliant plan. I guess Mascherano will have a good friend to practice while the starting XI plays most matches during the season.

Winter is coming, boring moments on the bench also...so why dont let them amuse themselves...Krkic, Modric..Mascherano...:D i dont like when clubs buy expensive players and than they sit on the bench...or they become "injured"

latest i've heard is afellay to barcelona. the modric article came from a tabloid without quotes.

i would have to say vdv for now in answer to this thread.

krasic for juventus, tiote for newcastle, ozil for madrid and coutinho coming back from loan in his 1st real season for inter have also caught my eye.

What do you think about Kranjcar's quality, as a player?

Kagawa, this kid just keeps getting better and better. He was bought from Japan's 2nd league for 350,000. He's probably worth 15m euros now if anyone were to go after him. One of the players of the Bundesliga so far this season.

The kid is unbelievable he was an absolute steal, cant believe none of the big clubs spotted him, may be due to his nationality. Anyways, if he continues to develop like this he could become Asias first real word class player.

I'm not saying it is the best transfer, but Hercules picking up David Trezegut on the free was a shrewd move. 7 goals in 11 matches, not bad Trezegol!

Well that's because he was scouted from the 2nd league which is even more impressive in Japan. If there ever was a signing out of absolutely nowhere that turns into gold, this would be it. Yeah I agree with you, if he keeps his consistency and keeps improving he could turn into a world class player.

    Kagawa > Park :p

This is at least a slight exaggeration... Kagawa has played in the Japanese nt for 2 years (albeit mostly in friendlies), he was topscorer in his last season in the JLeague 2 and got his club promoted and as I understand it, was already considered to be the next big thing and highly sought after in Japan. Not that he wasn't a killer transfer for Dortmund, but they weren't the only ones noticing him... just the only Europeans who were willing to bet on him making the transition ^^ He had a buy-out clause for European clubs in his contract, otherwise he couldn't have been had for so little money

Trezeguet is so good at the moment that Inter wants to have him!

But Villa was the best transfer last summer.
He's just playing for Barca like he had played only for Barca and for no club else!

40 mil equalling to 7 goals so far.

vdv was 8 mil and is on 8 goals..

i don't think villa is the best transfer when comparing :p

trezegol is a great shout however, as is kagawa.

    Kagawa wasn't good today.
And you can't compare only their goales.
You have to see them in context to the team.
vdV was also a good transfer. But he won't have this quality like now in the future, look at him in Madrid and Hamburg!
