Frustrating game. Nothing seemed to go our way. Fabianski was the difference. You spend all year taking the piss out of that ********, but knew he'd come up big against us. Perhaps he's done with making mistakes now....JINXJINXJINX!

Sagna had a very bgood game today. Beautiful goal. Hope he doesn't change his hair style anytime soon....good run of play from him. Up the arsenal!

I do not know why Moyes still fancies Yak and Saha who are both past their primes. Whatever happened to Anechebe? You all better save some money to bring back Donovan. I think Felliani would have helped in the end with his height. Well played though. Credit for actually trying to play us.

What is it with this team and losing focus at the end of games?

Nice win, but we know it could have been three or four quite easily.

was too scared to mention it while the game was going for fear of jinxing it but i thought djourou did really well today. no glaring mistake that i can think of and seemed quite assured defending and in possession.

fabianski had shit all to do until the end but acquitted himself well when tested. that is terrific to see. hopefully his confidence continues to grow and he won't become so dependent on having a good run.

i thought nasri was terrific again and fabregas looked good until his clash with distin. i thought arshavin was more aggressive than i'd seen him in awhile . . . until he ran out of gas.

Top strikers cost top dollar, and we don't have any money. So we have to make do with people reaching the end or take a gamble on someone like Beckford. Donovan would have been nice, he tends to hug the wings for us though, I fancy he'd have put away the late chance Pienaar had though.

    3 things i love from today's game:

    1. We win
    2. Sagna's goal. (really didn't expect that from him)
    3. Nasri's pace. If i just popped up and watch the run, i would've assumed it was Theo, no less.

    that you are! :D
that's possible. perhaps he just needs a good run of posts and i can see some confident postings from him to be confident with him in the first team. :D

For me it was a bit of streams hell. Didn't allow for good focus on the game. No idea why streaming today was so bad... it's usually been quite good for a year or more.

Anyway, I did catch a few bits, including Arsene's reaction at the end of the match, which pretty much tells it all. Clearly he's felt pressure to perform and to pick back up points lost recently.

And since both piles of manure dropped points this w/end now we just need a little favor from Steve Bruce's side and we could be in really nice position.

Well if you were really following the opening post then you'd have had to time travel back to 11am May 1973.

Seriously though I've been burned too by well-intended misinformation on these boards. I always try to double-check now.

solid win. no one had a bad game and we were dogged in defence.
my only complaint was that we sat back at 2-0 when we probably should have kept looking for a third.
by the way, is it just me or are our full backs staying back more these last few matches?

    now, COME ON SUNDERLAND!

moyes and the club have done an absolutely amazing job with the kind of budget (or lack thereof) they have been to work with. i'm actually disappointed with yakubu since i thought he was going to be a perfect pick up for you when everton signed him.

you're right, but why wasn't it corrected in the original post. Idiots like me and some poor bastard last time rely on the thread for too much info i guess

maybe just more aware of when to go forward and not getting caught out as much. clichy, though, has been less adventurous and getting caught out less.

i relied on the thread for the time info as well and the correct information was posted within the first page.

as for correction of the first post, there's some kind of time limit on post editing, i believe.

Song was terrific with a few timely blocks that kept it at 2-0 as well as good defensive coverage throughout, just thought I'd mention his quiet brilliance! What a solid season he's been having.
